Chapter 8

Serena POV

I screamed for Calem's name and he tackled Ash to the ground and Officer Jenny handcuffed him. I looked over at Gary and Mays confused faces fighting with the police officers. I just turned my head in disappointment I just couldn't keep looking at this scene. I could hear Ash calling my name to help him but I didn't look,  I did what I had to and I caught him and now we could figure out where Aria was it was really hard though to not say anything just to look away. I wish everyone would just go away and that things were normal no threat no kidnapping no guardians. I could still hear Ash calling for me which made me feel horrible like I was as evil as Lysander he was my friend one of my best friends and I was betraying him. I along with Calem, Gary and May were escorted to the police station. The whole car ride I could hear May and Gary asking me why Ash was arrested but I stayed quiet I didn't want to say anything what could I say? That Ash has kidnapped Aria and wants to murder me? I was glad Calem was there.

Gary- Serena talk to us what is going on here? Ash hasn't done anything wrong?!?
May- Yeah whats going on?!? He is your friend Serena!
Calem- Looks like you guys don't know yet do you..
May- Know what?
Calem- That Ash is the kidnapper who kidnapped Aria and wants to kill Serena!! So if I were you I would keep it quiet because I really don't think Serena really wants to talk.

After that everyone in the car was silent. I could hear May and Gary whispering about something but I didn't care I couldn't stop thinking about Ash and what he has done. 5 years ago when we traveled together he saved Kalos he cared about me why would he do it? I couldn't help but feel like it was my fault that Aria could be hurt and scared and alone.. But I had to keep my head up high, no emotions show no emotions at all that's what I kept telling myself.

Ash POV

I was dragged into a police car. I kept yellling Serena's name but she didn't say anything she didn't even look, just turned around so she couldn't see my face. I was so confused I sat in the back of the car I kept asking the driver what was going on but he was silent. Finally we made it to the police station the driver dragged me in. I looked around and saw that everyone was staring at me. Some with hatred in their eyes some with the satisfaction I was in cuffs. They brought me to a interrogation room were I would be questioned.

Ash- You can't keep me in here! What's going on?
Jenny- Ash Ketchum we believe you be the suspect of the kidnapping of Aria.
Ash- I'm innocent! You have to be kidding me I was one of the people who saved Kalos! Remember that?
Jenny- Relax I'm just going to ask you a few questions..
Ash- Okay.
Jenny- Were were you 8:27 pm?
Ash- I don't know probably in my way to the gala..

I know exactly were I was, I was in the limousine with the crazy driver. I remember it exactly it when May and figured out what happened. How I wish I could tell them what really happened but then they may find out that I'm the guardian of Arcues.

Jenny- The driver said you and May never came where were you?
Ash- Look May was sick okay I had to stay behind.
Jenny- She doesn't look to sick.
Ash- I'm innocent okay! I swear I would never hurt anyone.
Jenny- Just tell me where Aria is and maybe I can reduce your sentence.
Ash- No I'm innocent the should be no sentence to minimize!

Right as I said that Gary walked and big he looked super serious.

Gary- Gary Oak grandson of Professor Oaks grandson I'm this boys lawyer and he will be answering no more questions.
Jenny- Fine I'll leave you to but you guys are staying here.
Gary- Thanks also I would appreciate it if no one is looking in our conversation. Because my grandpa is Professor Oak and he knows some things that would ruin this police stations reputation. And if I find out someone else besides May I will expose all of you. Am I clear?
Jenny- Yes Mr.Oak.
Ash- Wow thanks for that.
Gary- We need to find a way to get you guys outta here dude. And they're not going to let you out until you confess to a crime you didn't do.
Ash- So then what do I do? I can't tell them where I really was..
Gary- Serena wants to talk to you maybe you can convince her then she may convince the police to let you go. She is the key of getting you outta here. But be careful she's seems pretty determined to find out who wrote the letter so choose your words wisely..
Ash- Got it. Thanks Gary.
Gary- Of course.
