He was awake that night, unable to sleep. He went to the terrace, hoping to get some fresh air.
------AT TERRACE------
He was standing near the edge. The cool breeze blew away the negative thoughts off his mind. The silence felt beautiful. He closed his eyes to feel more peace. His inner mind, which was full of thoughts was now empty, filled with the sounds of the breeze.
"I didn't expect to meet you here!"
Taehyung looked at where the voice came from. It was Jisoo. She came towards him.
"Don't worry I am not stalking you.", she said smiling.
"I come to the terrace everyday at this time. What about you?", she asked.
"I just wanted fresh air.", he thought.
"I think you wanted some fresh air. Even I want some fresh air.", she said.
"She read my mind!", he thought.
Then she inhaled deeply and exhaled to let every air inside her go. She looked up at the stars. Her face lightened.
"I love these stars. Don't you think they are beautiful?", she asked him.
He too, looked above. They are enchanting. He nodded and smiled. Jisoo smiled in return.
"Can I ask you something, Mr Silent?", she asked. He nodded.
"Can we be friends. Now that we are also neighbours, it's easy to become friends.", she asked.
Taehyung didn't let his expressions change. She desperately wanted to be his friend. He was tolerating her speak too much. He allowed her to be herself infront of him.
He didn't respond.
"I promise, I'll never leave you as a friend.", she said.
Her words made him pale. He was frozen. His mind rushed back to that moment when he was in a relation with Irene.
"V, I don't think that I'll leave you! "
His heart was frustrated and sad. He shook his head so as to say no.
Jisoo's heart was broken. She wanted him just as a friend. She thought he'd atleast be a normal friend, like Suga, Jimin. Her head hung low in disappointment. Taehyung noticed that. He was stubborn and melting his heart was not a child's play.
Jisoo tried to be chirpy again.
"Fine. If you feel shy, its fine. But at least we can talk. I mean I can talk with you.", she said.
Nothing could stop her.
