Abandoned Ruby

I came out of the kitchen to see who in Asgore's name he was talking about...I froze when I saw he was holding a skeleton with big fluffy ears and a tail, they looked adorable!!

"WOWIE I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE MAKING NEW FRIENDS, SANS YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME!" I said slightly pouting...I then noticed she looked scared.

Sans sighed softly, "I found her in an alleyway and her arm is broken...can ya get the medical aid kit??" He asked as he gently sets her on the couch.

I nodded as I went upstairs to retrieve it.

She tried to struggle again when I was about to put her on the couch, this time she seemed more afraid & still strongly aggressive.

She growls and snarled loudly at me, again trying to bite me, "No!" I snapped sternly growling back at her which startled her.

I sighed softly, "...Sorry...Just relax okay, I wanna help ya...struggling and biting ain't gonna help" I told her softly.

She sat there trembling slightly as she looked away, "...."

I sighed softly, "......Do ya gotta name kiddo??"

She growls lowly before nodding softly, "...." she takes out an old broken collar and tossed it at me, catching it, I read the tag, it reads Ruby.

"....Ruby...??" I asked.

Ruby glances up at me immediately those eyes are half white half ruby red...so pretty.

"It's a nice name.....may I see that arm of yours??" I asked gently sitting beside her.

Ruby flinched slightly before holding her arm away from me, growling as she shook her head then whined loudly from moving her arm too fast.

I sighed softly, "Come on, I wanna help ya so yer arm ain't broken anymore...but yer gonna have to let me see it, please" I asked gently petting her head.

Ruby froze at this as I rub her head and ears gently...she acts like this is the first time anyone's done this to her, she seems to like it cause it calms her down.

I smile softly, "See...I ain't gonna hurt cha. I wanna help ya"

Ruby starts purring loudly as I scratch behind her ear, which just makes me giggle, *Cute!~*
She allowed me to look at her arm as I kept scratching behind her ear.

It was a really bad broken arm...like someone broke it during a fight.

"SANS!! I GOT THE MEDICAL KIT!!!" Paps says as he runs down the stairs with it.

He froze when he saw Ruby's broken arm, "OH BY THE NAME OF ASGORE!! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME IT WAS THIS BAD!!!" He said out of worry, Ruby growls at him as he gets close to her and me.

"Hey be nice Ruby, he's my brother. Papyrus." I explained, Ruby didn't seem to care who Paps was, she didn't trust him.

I sighed softly as I grabbed a few things outta the medical kit and gently took her by the hand dabbing a wet cloth on her arm to clean it, but this just made her yelp as she quickly pulled away, "GRRRRR, that hurts!!" She snarled trembling slightly.

Paps sat on the other side of her, "I'm sorry I'm sure Sans wasn't trying to hurt you...but please let us help...." He says softly with his big sad puppy dog eyes.

Ruby flinched slightly before scoffing, then let me finish cleaning her arm. She closed her eye sockets tightly as she bites her lip. Paps noticed this and holds her other hand lovingly.
Ruby seems to like this.
