Beauty and the Demon

Chapter 17

"Is he dangerous?" asked an old woman.

"No, he'd never harm anyone. Listen! I know the radio demon looks vicious, but he's really kind and gentle. He's my friend." replied Charlie.

When Harold looked at how Charlie smiled at Alastor in the mirror, he realised Charlie had feelings for the radio demon and got angry and jealous.

"If I didn't know better I'd think you had feelings for this monster!" Harold glared.

"He's not a monster, Harold Von Eldritch! You are!" Charlie yelled angrily.

Harold snatched the mirror from Charlie and began to convince the villagers that Charlie is as crazy as her friend the Alastor was dangerous.

"The radio demon will make off with your children! He'll come after them in the night!" Harold convinced the villagers. Charlie told everyone not to trust Harold, but they didn't listen.

"What are we gonna do?" asked a woman worriedly holding her child.

"We're not safe until his head is mounted on my wall! I'll say: We'll kill the radio demon!" Harold suggested.

All the villagers agreed with Harold but Charlie refused.

"No! I won't let you do this!" Charlie cried.

"If you're not with us, you're against us!" Harold said.

He ordered the villagers to lock Charlie and Vaggie up in their basement.

"Let us out! You won't get away with this, Harold!" Charlie cried.

"We'll free our village from this devil! So, who's with me?" said Harold to the villagers.

"I am!" replied the villagers.

But little they know Niffty saw what happen.

"We'll lay siege to the monster's castle and being back his head!" Harold cried

They brought their pitchforks, torches and guns, riding on their horses and were off to the castle along with Harold Von Eldritch who used the mirror to find the castle.

"I have to warn Alastor! This is all my fault!" Charlie said looking down.

"Now, now, Charlie. We'll think of something." Vaggie comforted Charlie.

But then, Niffty had an idea. She turn on the meshine and trow it to basement door. Charlie and Vaggie moved away and they were finally free. They ride on Razzle and Dazzle and head back to the castle before it's too late.

Meanwhile the mob were arriving to the castle. The servants saw the mob and they noticed Harold had the mirror. They realised that the castle is under attack. And Mimzy was trying to warn Alastor about the mob while the rest of the servants try their best to block the door.

"Pardon me, your highness!" said Mimzy.

"Leave me alone!" said Alastor still depressed.

"But the castle is under attack! What shall we do now?" Mimzy said worriedly.

"It doesn't matter anymore. Just let them come." Alastor said sadly.

"Take Whatever booty you can find! But remember, the radio demon is mine!" Harold said to the mob as they used a big log to burst the door open.

The servants tried hard but they weren't strong enough to hold the door. Angel had an idea to set up a trap for the mob. After the mob finally opened the door. Once they're inside, they saw furnitures and objects in the entrance. Little did they know that demons hinding behind them. They carefully locked around in the castle. Then Angel use the signal.

"NOW!" Angel shouted.

Demons attacked the mob. It was a real battle while Harold still carried on to find Alastor and searched every room. The mob was no match for demons.

"Let's get out of here! This castle is cursed!" cried guy with fear.

The mob including Blitzo ran out of the castle and got scared and screamed like girly girls and the servants celebrastes their victory but little did they know that Harold was still inside the castle. Once he went to the West Wing there he found Alastor in the bedroom, still depressed. Harold shot and arrow on Alastor's shoulder, pounced him into to the roof and beating him up but Alastor was too depressed to fight and felt he had nothing to live for. Once Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, Razxle  and Dazzle arrived and saw Harold was about to kill Alastor.

No! Harold, Don't do that!" Charlie screamed.

Alastor heard Charlie's voice. He started to stand up against Harold while Charlir rushed into the castle. It was a real battle on the castle roof. They fought and fought until Alastor grabbed Harold and was about to drop him from the roof.

"Please, spare me! I'll do anything! Anything!" Harold begged for mercy.

Alastor calmed down and spared him.

"Get out of here!" said Alastor depressed again until he saw Charlie in the castle balcony.

"Alastor!" said Charlir while reaching his arm for Alastor.

"Charlie! You came back!" Alastor smiled as climbed to the balcony and held each hand.

Suddenly Harold stabbed Alastor in the back with a knife. Harold slipped from the tower and fell in a big hole and met his death while Charlie gently lifted the injured radio demon into the balcony while the servants saw everything gasped in horror to see Alastor fatally injured.

"Charlie... You.... You came back..." said Alastor weakly.

"Of course I'm back, Alastor! I couldn't let them. This is all my fault! If only I'd gotten here sooner." said Charlie tearfully.

"Maybe it's better this way.." said Alastor, getting weaker and dying.

"No, don't say that! We're together now! You'll be alright! Everything's going to be alright." said Charlie still in tears.

"At least I got to see you ...one... last... time..." said Alastor with his last breath while placed Charlie's cheek with his hand until he died.

"No! No! Please, don't leave me! I love you!" Charlie sobbed and mourned Alastor's death.

The fire dissapeared, and suddenly Alastor transformed into his human self and revived. Charlie was surprised and shocked. Alastor looked around himself to see he became a human again.

"Charlie! It's me!" Alastor said.

Charlie took a closer look at Alastor, when she looked at his eyes and she realised the prince and the radio demon were the same person.

"It is you!" Charlie smiled happily as they kissed each other and then, the spell was broken, castle and everyone who live there returned back to their normal selves. The servants were happy that the spell was broken.

Later, after Charlie and Alastor married each other. They danced at the ball while everyone including Vaggie, Ms. Millie and Charlie's father were watching happily at the couple. And they all lived happily ever after!
