The next day I was staring at Sniffles , Mrs. Walkers cat who was staring back at me. I think we do that often. Any she wins every time. I saw Ben rushing towards me.
" Hey Dani did you see the news?"
" What news?"
Ben dragged me closer and showed his phone.
" This has gone viral, this girl , I don't know who, saved so many people yesterday . Isn't she cool?"
"She's cool? thanks man"
" What?"
" What I meant was she'd be so thankful when people appreciate her"
" Thankful? she? No Dani , we should be thankful to her , damn she's awesome!"
Well it was me in the video and I couldn't possibly tell Ben about that. And I had no idea why I was blushing.
"Wanna go for a walk?"
We were back at the lake. Ben was looking at me giving his sharp look. But I ignored him I dragged him into a conversation.
" So what do you think about that superhero girl"
" She's a terror"
" What?"
" Yeah, she's a terror. A girl who is a terror to the bad guys at night , just like a night terror, I don't think anyone out there will face any danger at night when she's around "
Night Terror? Now that's a cool name.
" Dani I wanna tell you something, I think I have this crush on a girl "
" Woah man , who is that?"
" It's Jane , our classmate "

" Wow I'm really happy for you, just work on that and if you need any help you can ask me"
I smiled at him and went away without speaking a word. To be frank I was shaken by what he said. He is my best friend but I felt somewhat jealous of him loving another girl.
But anyways now that I'm a "superhero" I had a duty. To keep the city safe and I need to find who those backstreet boys were and what they are up to. Before all those things I needed a suit. A supercool one. The only suit that popped in to my head was the red and black suit I always day dreamed about.
I went home searched the entire house and found my moms red dress which she wore last Christmas and black fabric which in a cupboard. I worked hard for hours and finally I finished my suit.
A red and black suit which has a big golden star on my chest. Let the terror of night keep the city safe.
I went back to the creepy mansion by the lake and found out it was empty.
Hmmm now this is weird!!
I searched the area and found their lab. It was filled with colourful beakers and scribbled papers everywhere. Then I saw a pocket note book. I read it and found out that they've planned to ship this formula to Antartica.
I walked around and couldn't find anything important. Suddenly the floor was shaking and a man glowing in red light was in front of me. Before I could do anything, he hit me with all his might and I was thrown away . Even before I got up to my feet , the red glowing guy grabbed me by my collar and threw me down .
Ugh , I feel like I'm seeing flying cows around me.
Then he grabbed me by my neck and looked into my blazing brown eyes.
" Hey little girl! remember me?"
I looked at the man and it was one of those backstreet boys.
" Oh hey there, longtime huh?"
" Do you wanna know what happened to me?"
" Yeah can you please tell me why you stink so much , cause I'm taking a big risk in holding my breath "
" Shut the fuck up !!!! , I thought I lost my years of work, because you took it away from me, and then I rebuild it . Guess what it's better than the first one . And now let me finish you"
Now this guy is nuts !
" You injected your own formula into your own body? That's crazy man"
" Enough talking, time to die"
The new red glowing guy threw me towards the wall. Blood game gushing from my forehead.
Sorry old man but now it's my turn.
I stood up and before he could do anything I blasted off
my blue energy towards him. This time he hit the wall. I punched him in his face, I guess two or three times. Then he caught me by my leg and threw me again. I fell in a passage area. The red villain flew towards me . He blasted his red energy towards me and this time he missed.
I managed to get up and blast my blue energy at him. Then I flew towards the end of the passage which lead in to the tunnel I arrived the first day. My red friend was following me .
I entered the tunnel and then dived in to the lake . To my luck there was a fishing boat which was filled with fish guts.
Let's have a fish smoothie bath shall we?
When the red fire guy blasted at me I dodged his blast and I blasted out my energy with all my might . He flew up in the air and landed on the smelly fish guts.
Yuck !!!
I flew out of the lake and vanished into the sky.
