Special 1(mekboss)

Okay... So I have a confession, I really wanted to focus a chapter of this story on Mekboss... So please dont be mad!

Boss woke up tangled inn the light beige sheets and groaned loudly as the sun hit his face in rays that were brighter than his future (as the male would say himself). "Mek, close the blinds!" he says to  his lover softly and reaches out to tap him, only to find he is not there.

Boss sat up quickly and widened his eyes, rushing out of bedroom, heading downstairs looking for his boyfriend . He walked in all of the rooms and called out for him when he couldn't find him.

Mek was currently at the store, buying the last few things he needed to make his love's birthday perfect. The only thing that can go wrong is if Boss forgets that it is his birthday. He smiled widely at the thought of his six year lover, acting like his goofy self whilst dancing along to some pop classic.

Mek loved Boss with all his heart. That's why he was going to propose today. What could be better than a birthday proposal? He thought to himself and grinned, leaving the store with everything he needed. Mek only hoped that his beloved would still be asleep by the time he got home.

Boss on the other hand, had once again got through to his boyfriends voicemail, making him feel sick with worry. Mek was sensible, he knew that, yet a part of him couldn't stop thinking about what could've happened.

The couple were rarely away from each other, Mek was always beside Boss when he awoke. Always beside Boss when he went to sleep. Hell, they even worked together.

The thought that Mek was either in danger or ignoring him knawed away at his brain, making him dizzy. Boss heard a key in the door and rushed to it seeing Mek, trying to sneakily close the door.

"Where were you?!" Boss asked loudly, tapping his foot on the floor with his hands on his hips, looking like a mother scolding their child.

Mek turned around with wide eyes, checking his watch "why are you up babe?" he smiled innocently, trying to hide the bag of goodies he had bought.

"Don't babe me Mek. Do you have any idea how worried I was?! I thought you had left me!"

Mek stood there and began to laugh softly "Is someone worried about me??" he says with a small smirk on his face.

Boss glared at him aand huffed, running to the other and hugging him tightly "you weren't there when I woke up...I really thought you got fed up of me..."

"Babe, I will never, be fed up of you. I love you too much for that." Mek smiled and hugged back.

Boss, noticed the bag the taller male was holding and got curious "What's in the bag??"

"Presents."

"For who?!" Boss yelled, instantly getting jealous.

Mek laughed and pulled away from the hug, flicking Boss's forehead gently. "Why are you jealous of yourself?" he grabbed the males hand and pulled him to the living room, sitting him down on the couch, dropping the presents on the couch next to him.

-----after a while of Mek spoiling Boss-----

Mek was getting nervous, it was nearing the end of the day and he had booked a fancy restaurant for the both of them to enjoy a meal. Mek sweat profusely, pulling on the collar of his shirt as they approached the restaurant.

Boss however, was feeling emotional, he hadnt expected Mek to go to this length, especially for him. Boss walked in to the restaurant, only to be met with a waiter, immediately asking which table was reserved, and under what name. "Mek..." he replies, unsure of everything.

Mek smiled and just led him right in, knowing his way around the restaurant. "Here." Mek says as he gestures to a candle lit table in the quiet corner. He smiled as Boss looked around in awe and pulled out the char for him, gently tucking it in after the male had sat.

Boss immediately grabbed Mek's hand when the other took his seat." Thank you so much for this..."

--------------at the end of the dinner--------------

Mek cleared his throat as he got off of his chair and knelt down on one knee, grabbing the small box out of his pocket.

Boss widened his eyes. He had an inkling about what would happen next yet he wasn't sure.

"Boss...my adorable, funny, amazing boyfriend. Will you marry me?" Mek smiled up at the other as he flipped open the box.

Boss nodded, not being able to form words as tears streamed from his eyes in quick streams, looking a little like waterfalls.

Mek slid the ring onto Boss's finger and grinned at the other, feeling relieved and incredibly happy.

Both males that night, fell more in love with the other. As they spent the whole night talking about random things.
