Now I don't see this too often but when I do... oh boy I don't like it. I use to be like this(in my defense though I was young and still needed to read language arts), I always used the words said interesting and saw. Young dumb me didn't know how many more words and synonyms there were. I'm still in school but I'm learning new words.
But if you don't feel like learning new words all the time, download Grammarly. I feel all writers should have it anyways. Grammarly recommends you words to use instead of said and interesting or *shudders*
Very. Bruv I swear very is one of the most common words used(b̶y̶ m̶e̶).Instead of very use extremely, relatively, incredibly, awfully, exceptionally(these we're recommended by Grammarly)
Here are some examples
꧁꧂He ran very fast but he fell.
She was yelling very loud, telling her son not to run away again.
They wore very bright clothes.
꧁꧂I read sentences like this all the time in stories(all fanfics) and I'm getting bored. If you use the same three words your reader will obviously notice and get bored faster. For them to not get bored easily they either have to 1: look past it while they're gradually getting turned off from the story
2:they don't have a problem with it which is weird so they'd have to be no older than 10
3: the story must be hella interesting
Or 4: some other wack ass optionWrite instead...
꧁꧂He moved hastily but he stumbled.
She was yelling noisy scolding her son not to run away again.
They sported colorful outfits.
꧁꧂See that! Do something like that!
Last year I was reading a Naruto x Avatar fanfic(which hasn't been updated in like over a year c'mon. I'm gonna write about that) and they used the term 'said girl' or 'said guy' or some type of shit tons of time. So as I'm reading the story my eye is twitching.
Anyways, I have said my word for the time being. Thank you for your time.
Nobody:
Me reading 'said girl' and 'said boy' over and over again

Things I'm tired of reading/ I want to see more of
RandomI read some fanfics, and I'm really tired of seeing the same thing in stories. So I'm just stating my opinion, on how you could do differently for your story. I might review some of your fics if you ask me to, although I might not be into the fandom...
