Title: When Fate Takes Over (Possible rename)
Genre: Romance, Paranormal, Drama.
Summary: 2020 could have gone down in the books as one of the worst years in this century so far but then, 2021 came and Humans quickly realized it was nothing compared to what they were facing now.
You are now in a world where shifters take over and the Human race is now a minority.
They were no longer a magical myth nor an urban legend; Werewolf shifters were real and angered with a vengeance to take back their power, the power humans scientists once took advantage of, toyed with and brought to light to their race as Monsters.
The war of Humans vs. Shifters ensued and lasted a full ninety days before the humans gave up bloodied, scared, and defeated. Any Humans, soldiers or civilians, that survived the 90 day war were obliged to spend their days serving the werewolf shifters. Life became a dictatorship where shifter ruled and commanded the lives of humans. If lucky, humans were told what jobs they can have, what they can study, where they can live, what they can buy, but if they were unlucky, they served the werewolf shifter as slaves -- sexual and otherwise.
Artemis, soon to be Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack, doesn't at all agree with how most his fellow packs treat the humans. They paid enough for their faults -- to much in his opinion. It wasn't the entire races fault that a handful of scientists decided to play operation with shifters bodies and find a way to posses the power shifters did.
Luna Riviera has been on her own, sleeping beside rocks, under trees, and inside caves -- wherever she could find shelter for the night -- for the last 13 months. It has been 13 months since the war and 13 months since her parents were brutally murdered by the Were-shifters. She has been running ever since and praying not to get caught, anything but becoming their personal slave. With only as much of her personal belongings she could carry in her backpack and stealing bits and pieces of food from wherever she could, she has become a pro. Nobody has caught sight of her; nobody has paid mind to her is more like it; being tiny at 5'2", with messy light brown hair and dull forest green eyes and filled out with an abundant amount of curves, nobody really looked her way, she was just another poor girl. Or so she thought...
Taking a late night run, Artemis got the breath knocked out of him when he smelled vanilla and cinnamon, a smell so intense, so ravishing, he knew there was only one explanation for it. A smell he knew would be ingrained in his mind and heart for all eternity -- The smell of home.
It couldn't be her could it?
Was it possible that two people society deemed to be so wrong for each other, be so fatefully right? A human and a Werewolf shifter, was that even possible?
Characters: I don't have any ideas on how I want these characters to look yet, but I do know I picture Artemis with dark hair and dark eyes and Luna with light brown hair (the color of rich caramel) and green eyes.
Sneak Peak
There was no way. The words coming out of his mouth I would never believe, I couldn't believe them. It is physically impossible for her - a human- to be mated to a monster whom had a hand at killing her parents. They were all monsters who couldn't control their urges. Monster who took out their anger on innocent humans who had nothing to do with the experiments those scientists produced. They saw all humans them same, disgusting creatures who were worth no more than the mud beneath their feet.
There was once a time where I was horrified with what those sciensicts were doing. Sure they were a supposed supernatural myth, they were of another form, another race but they deserved a chance. They never did anything wrong that I had seen...
