The show had gone off without a hitch. The crew was very nice, for the most part. Jolene had been a fan of Saturday Night Live since she was a kid and was very familiar with the crew. Her favorite bit was a fake music video called Valentine's Song which she got to film with Aidy Bryant and Kate McKinnon. There were several moments where she felt herself starting to crack at how funny everyone around her was. Dream come true was definitely an understatement. She had spent more time wandering the halls of the studio than actually performing, or at least it had felt like it. As the show had wrapped and the credits had ceased rolling, she stepped off set to get her mic removed and change out of her wardrobe and into her own clothes. On her way to the dressing room, a couple of the cast members and crew complimented her on her first hosting and told her to come back soon. She was certain it was just people being nice but it still felt nice. They did a good job of making you feel like a part of the family if you let yourself.

It didn't take long to dress back down into her oversized Blackhawks jersey and a pair of bright red biker shorts. As she was slipping on her black Doc Marten's, she heard a knock on the door frame of the dressing room. When she looked up, she saw the weekend update guys, Colin, Michael, and Pete. She offered them a kind smile, trying her best not to hold eye contact for too long with anyone in particular.

"Hey! We just wanted to congratulate you on a great first host!" Colin complimented her with that yearbook smile.

"Yeah seriously, your performances were really good, you really brought it," Michael nodded at her.

"Awwww, thanks guys," She said, her hand setting over her heart as she flashed a grin at them, "I really appreciate it. I loved it!"

"We're gonna go have drinks down the road, you in?" Michael asked, hitching his thumb in the theoretical direction of the bar they would go to.

Her eyes flashed towards Pete but quickly centered back on Michael and Colin, "Uhhhh . . ." She bit the corner of her bottom lip before cracking a small smile, "Yeah for sure, is it cool if I invite a friend?"

"Yeah, of course! Pete always brings one of his lackeys with him so it's not a big deal," Colin gave Pete a playful slap on the shoulder.

"Well, to be fair, I'm usually the lackey in the situation," He added with a small, close lipped smile.

The blonde raised her dark brows at him, not sure how to keep up with the comedian's conversation, "So, you can just text me the address and I'll see you in thirty?" She asked, breaking the silence.

Pete seemed to cower back, letting the two Weekend Update hosts take the conversation back over. "For sure, we'll see you there!"
