"Please, please, please stop crying, it was an accident," I said with a worried look on my face. As I was standing in front of her looking down on the girl I loved for so long but yet I couldn't get the picture of that red hair out of my head.

"PIG!" Stacy sobbed, tears streaming down her beautiful face and onto her top leaving wet spots. I could see that she was truly hurt but I just couldn't figure out what I did to make her look this heart broken.

I grabbed Stacy and held her close against my big frame, "I'm sorry," I whispered into her hair hoping to console her.

"No, not you, HIM!" she said bitterly and I could feel my blood heating up at the thought of some guy hurting her, she was like family to me. A fragile and delicate flower that needed to be treated right.

I looked up at her with a true concerned look on my face and a frown causing furrows on my forehead, and in a whisper I asked "What happened, talk to me?"

She just broke down in tears of devastation and I could barely hear her say "Harold that's the pig's name."

Stacy looked up into my eyes where we stood and said "He filled the typical bad boy cliché wonderfully, I knew he was trouble from the start but yet he showed something every girl wants to see, his sweet side. We were together for a year, when suddenly he got weird during Christmas break and gave me the type of kiss that I should have realized was a farewell kiss... I later found out that he went to his ex to see if there was still something between them. He thought that I wouldn't mind that! But what killed me was hearing that while he was drunk at a party he kissed two girls at once...," she wanted to continue but stopped in the middle of the explanation and I saw the hurt flash through her eyes so I left it alone.

I looked at her and told her that all boys are not the same and that I would never do that, she deserves so much more than that. She gave me a disgusted smile and said that even back then she was stupid. Shocked about what she said because it was clearly about me, I asked her why she said that to which she replied:

"Remember our kiss? And... Betty?" she spat Betty's name and couldn't look at me anymore which hurt me in some way but immediately I knew what was going on and I started to explain.

"You never allowed me to explain, why would I ever kiss that crazy girl? It was all just part of her crazy games. I never kissed her, you were my first and last kiss that summer. You have to believe me, StacyStar, please?" I looked at her willing her with my mind to look back at me as I explained seriously really hoping that she would understand.

Stacy opened her mouth just to close it again, and then she gave me a sheepish smile and one of her classic comfort hugs which meant that we were friends again and I could feel a weight being lifted off my shoulders and easing my mind from the dreams for just a little while...

So after I got back from the weekend at the lake Peter decided we had to have a boy's night, you know the classic drinking, playing Xbox and just fooling around.

"So I can't believe you and Miss Stacy, again!" Peter said teasingly as he winked his brown eyes at me. Yes that's exactly the type of thing my best friend would assume seeing as he always thought of relationships as an easy game that could be won over with charm.

"No man we are just friends, or something..." I said confused realizing that we never actually talked about our feelings.

"Tell me about the weekend then man?" Peter said as he stared pouring us some shots.

"Oh you know how it goes, got into trouble with Tyler and hung out with Stacy. Can we just drink now?" I tried to joke as I downed the liquid happiness one shot after the other trying to clear my mind. As our night progressed we both got a little drunk and decided that we should steal my dad's bike for a little fun. I put on my dad's helmet and joked around with Peter when suddenly he thought he heard my dad coming to my room. I panicked and asked Peter to get the helmet off but it was stuck on my head.

"Dude help me, this fucking thing won't come off!" I whispered urgently still trying my best to get it off my head and that's when I tripped and fell...

I woke up waiting for the hangover to hit me, but absolutely nothing happened I only felt a little foggy and disorientated. Wait? how did I get the helmet off and how am I on the bed?? Then I heard it, the soft music floating to my ears and the voice of her the mysterious girl always haunting my dreams... "John, John-Blue..." As I looked at my window I saw her and to my biggest surprise and delight it was the very first time I could she her clearly and completely, I couldn't breathe or find exactly the right words to say. She was the most beautiful creature I've ever seen, the beautiful face that has haunted my dreams over and over. She had the skin of a porcelain doll that contrasts perfectly with her fiery red hair and ice cold blue eyes that bore into my soul. The closer I got to her the harder the music got. She gave me a look that spelled trouble as she opened her window and jumped out just as I reached my own window to climb out after her when, the next moment I was standing on a cliff watching her dive into the deep blue ocean. I was still staring at her freaking out and wondering if she was okay but I couldn't move or speak when I just fell without ever moving. As I resurfaced I saw a flash of movement under the water before I was sudden pulled down under the water by a tight grip. As I opened my eyes I was staring into big angry green eyes. "What are you doing here?! You don't belong in this world." Said the long blonde-haired girl as she was swimming in front of me with her sparkling pearl-white mermaid tale and I could not believe what I was seeing but what had my full attention was the little flashes of red I saw behind her and I just knew it was her and felt so relieved that she was okay. Her gaze shifted as she spoke to me, following her eyes I saw her again behind me. "Charlotte-Rose what did you do??" the mermaid asked angrily. "I was just playing around with him again but something, something changed." Charlotte said confused but intrigued. She pushed me backwards into the water and...

I woke up in a cold sweat my now heavy and hung-over body on the floor. I could still feel her small hands on my chest but I realized that it was just another stupid dream as I got up slowly to face a worried looking Peter.

"Dude what happened man? Are you feeling okay?" Peter asked concerned.   "I'm fine, but I think we've had enough for the night, you should just head home I need to recover." I said in a haze.

Peter gave me a tight nod as he left, knowing that I just needed some space. Why did the dream affect me so much?

I walked to my window and opened it so I could sit on my roof and clear my mind after the crazy dream. What the hell is wrong with me? I should just man up it was just a simple dream!

The next moment I saw a flash of red in the window of the house next door I couldn't believe my eyes but I acted instinctively, I tried reaching out to the window and touch it, but the next moment I slipped and fell, luckily to my feet, just as my mom walked outside to come and see what was going on and with a very concerned look on her face as she saw me. I didn't give her a chance to ask.

"Do we have new neighbors mom?" I asked rushed needing to know if I was going crazy.

"Yes, they just moved in the other day."
