The rosary took place just on new years eve from 5:00 to 6:00 my cousin Shania and I were supposed to sing first was the slideshow with all my grandfather’s pictures with all the grandchildren EXCEPT for me I had the most memories with him and I’ll give you three good guesses who was incharge of the slideshow….. Yep you got it, it was my evil aunt Tori “That little snake” I thought to myself “she was jealous that I got to have more memories with my grandfather then her kids did.. Well that's her own fault if she wasn’t such a stuck up brat maybe if she actually took the time to spend with him none of this would be happening” I called her out in my head and when I finally stopped I realized that the rosary had started because I heard the priest saying “the lord is my shepherd I shall not want.” catholic rosaries were weird because all the rosary is, is just repeating the same words over and over again. Once that was over with Shania was the first to sing the song she sang was called “Dancing with the angels” the song as two minutes long then came the eulogy my oldest cousin Eugine but we call him either Gene or Geno but besides that he took the stand and said some heart warming things about my grandfather even the memories they had when they drank together and then- I had to run to the restroom to keep from bawling in front of every family member in that small chapel after five minutes of trying to compose myself I drew a quivering breath and quit crying.

After the eulogy was over one of my grandpa’s best friend’s played the guitar and sang one of his favourite Johnny Cash song my grandpa’s I mean and the song was called “Cocaine blues” and let me tell you he had no shame when he did sing and it was just the best thing just because it was one of his favorites and I will never forget this man’s name Julian B Lopez hes the rebel I guess for a 78 year old man he’s a rebel because the church will never allow songs like that because the music has to be “religious” but he didn’t seem to care because he had no shame whatsoever. Next was the eulogy a few were selected to read verses from the bible the people that were chosen were my mom and my bratty 22 year old cousin Cheyanne. I can’t really make out what they were saying but all I know is that they were some religious bible quotes after what was over with I finally got up to sing and let me tell you. I was scared stiff almost, I got up in front of almost 75 people that I only knew half of but I got up without a microphone mind you and sang like my life depended on it I tried my hardest to sing like Elvis but keeping a feminine voice as I did and I was surprised about what I was hearing when the words came rolling out of my mouth I didn’t think I sounded good at all, hell I looked like a blasted pansy just moment’s before. But I saw someone in the crowd that I knew from school which made me more nervous his name was…. Andres. Andres Palafox but why was he there I didn't know he was from the family tree well I didn't find out until days later
