I missed a day of school on tuesday because I overslept and I had an appointment anyway, the day started off normally the usual schedule Wake up, take a shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, brush my hair, and out the door I go. Most days at my house are like that even when I don't go to school because that Tuesday as soon as the family was ready we went to my appointment.
After my appointment, my parents and I went to Walmart where I got some new clothes, a new pair of jeans and some flannel which I knew I was going to put to use at the end of the day besides its almost fall time why not.
That evening I googled when the sun was going to set so as soon as I found out I asked my mom if I could ride my bike up the hills so I could go watch it and of course my mom being the generous person she is said
"Alright fine" and I was ecstatic so as soon as I could I threw on my converse and flannel. I was hunting the house for flashlights that I could attach to my bike so I wouldn't become roadkill. If you know what I mean
I took my bike and rode it to the nearby river just less than a block behind my house, that's where the real bums live. It was so steep that I had to walk my bike up the hill and let's just say it was a pain in my rear end getting the bike all the way up there and all the way back once I reached the top of the hill I sat on an old cinder block that they use in construction sights not the regular cinder blocks but the tall and long ones made of concrete. I sat on the concrete block and watched the sunset over the lake I love watching the sunset now I get what the characters in my book mean by saying "Too bad it can't stay like this all the time"
Nothing gold can stay." they meant the colors that show when the sun is setting the vivid pink and purple just a long with the golden tint the sun gives off and it can't stay like that all the time when one of the main character's Ponyboy said "Nothing gold can stay" it makes me think of a golden ring or gold bar it can't keep its color forever sooner or later the shiny yellow will fade away.

I was thinking about the sunset I had seen the other night it was sure pretty I love
watching the sunsets especially ones as beautiful and golden and pink as the one nights before. Saturday is approaching and I am planning on watching the sunrise on that early Saturday morning. I remember one particular morning where I watched the sunrise in the summer I was up camping with my family and it was early morning when the sun was just barely rising from behind the mountains I put my shoes and jacket on and headed towards the fishing docks where I leaned on the railing sipped on my coffee and watched the sunrise it's kinda funny to me how the colors are so different from when the sun sets in the early morning when it rises it has a
yellow-ish-red tint to it and when it sets it's golden with a purple-ish pink tint.
Following in pursuit to that day I started watching those sunsets more often. It gives me time by myself to think and listen to music. I normally just ride my bike back there and sit on that big cinder block just to watch the sunset. I'm not sure why but it's just something about them that just amazes me.

Saturday approaches I carry on with my normal Saturday routine. Get up, get dressed in my bowling outfit, go bowling. It sucks now because I moved up a year. You see bowling is just like grade school but there's only three classes: bantams, preps, juniors I'm a junior meaning the age group is 13 to 18, bantams is 4 to 9, and preps is 10 to 13. After bowling I went to the moonfarm with my mom and my cousin Zander. Zander is eight months younger than me he has broad shoulders, black hair, a square-ish face, and ears like a lynx he can be annoying at times just because he has at least two inches on me but i'm still stronger I mean two weeks before hand he was resting his head on my shoulder telling me how short I was I wrapped my arm around the back of his neck and flipped him over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Man he flew across that bowling alley like Jerry the mouse runs away from Tom the cat in the show Tom and Jerry I laughed so hard I almost fell over. Not long after the three games were finished I started to feel bad for throwing my cousin across the bowling alley I asked
