"I want nothing to do with this!" I say in our pack meeting about protecting Bella as everyone is sitting around the living room. Sam nods his head in understanding. Jake growls at me.
"Come on Aleera... She is your cousin!" Jake says all mad as I laugh at him.
"You really think I still see her as my cousin? You clearly have your head too far up her ass to be thinking clearly!" I say with a snarl. Paul and Jared are glaring at Jake, Embry is shaking his head at him.
"Enough Jake. Aleera was going to be kept out of this anyways. She just phased and with all that she has going on... I will not add more to it." Sam says, looking at everyone. "But I will need your help with helping the boys with their homework and extra credit work to help them stay on track at school." Sam says I nod my head.
"You got it! I will pick up any work for the guys the days they miss school." I say with a smile. Paul kisses my head. Jake rolls his eyes at me.

Knowing Aleera won't have to deal with the leech lover sets me at ease but only a little. Now I just need her to stay focused on school and helping the boys with school. I can't watch her just sit there and be blank for another 24 hours. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through with her. I mean we have had our fights but this broke my heart watching my imprint, the love of my life sit and stare off into space like she was an empty shell. I watched as everyone moved around the house.
"Hey Sam, do you still need me and Aleera?.. I want to take her home." I say/ask my alpha.
"No! Go on and head home. I'll call if I need you." Sam says giving Aleera a kiss on the head. I know Sam is worried about her as well. Saying good night to everyone as we leave. Getting back to our place I moved to order pizza for the two of us.
"Pup?" I yell seeing that she is not in the living room any more.
"Yeah!" She says walking down the stairs in her pajamas.
