"Star!!! wake up! c'mon it's the first day of school! I don't wanna be late!"
Ugh! My brother was so noisy. Didn't you know it's hard to get up early on the first day of school?
My brother suddenly pulled my blanket away from me, "C'mon Star, you know I don't want to miss a second being a senior!"
"Yeah, and I don't want to miss a second being a freshman" I replied with a sarcasm tone.
"You know, it's not that bad being a freshman. And remember, you have me to rely on. I won't let other kids bully you."
"Well, it's easy for you to say, you're not the one being the lowest class of the entire class chain."
"Alright! Enough of the nagging, just get ready, kay? Beside, you'll meet your prince charming after all."
He smirked as he walked out of my room, reminding me that I soon will be meeting my crush for the first time as a high school student.
So first off all, let me introduced myself, the ordinary, Star Vanderson. With wavy-long brown hair and a dull-blue eyes, I was pretty ordinary looking. I was 130 pounds and 5’8 ft so sometimes people called me fat because I usually wore my brother’s t-shirt to school (don’t ask me why, I just liked it that way) and it hid all the curves I had, so yeah, I looked fat. Not that I could change that, I used to work hard to lose some pounds but it never worked so I gave up.
I just had an older brother which you guys had met earlier, Chris Vanderson. He hung out with the popular crowd in the school and to be said one of the hottest guy too. Well maybe it was true, every weekend he would sneak out of the house and called me to open the door for him at 2 AM! Imagine how pissed I was, but then he would promise to get me met his buddy, Nathan Young which I get head over heels for.
So, I bet you want know who was the prince charming that my brother was talking about, right?
He was my endless love from the second grade till now. He was my brother's best friend and very popular with girls. He's not your typical bad boy, infact he's a real gentleman. He played soccer along with Chris but he wasn’t the captain, Chris was. Nathan was the vice-captain. He often stayed the night over in my house. I was not sure He knew that I was falling for him and still am but he always saw me as his lil'sister. But everything will change! Once I stepped the school ground, I will do anything to get his heart even if I had to dress up a little bit, but not today I guessed, I was too sleepy to choose an outfit to wear.

"Hey Star! How's summer goin'?"
My best friend, Amy approached me as soon as she spotted me in front of my locker."Hey Amy! Summer was pretty boring you know! I don't have you by my side! "
"Well, I know it sucks! But I'm right here! So, what do you have first class? "
"I'm going to the advanced class for math " Well I liked math, don’t judge me!
"Well, I'm not going to be there, you nerd! See you at lunch!"As I was walking to the class, I spotted my crush walking towards me. Oh God! My heart nearly skipped a beat and I was such a nervous wreck. What could I do?
Okay, take a deep breath and here we go..."Hey Star! Long time no see! Miss me much already?" Haha, you don't know how much I do.
"Hey Nath, what can I say? I can never be apart from you." I really do..."Ow, I know lil'girl! I miss you too! "
He messed my hair with his hand and winked. I couldn’t keep myself from blushing until the bell rang. "Oops, don't wanna be late on your first class now do you? See you later Star!"
