9. Boss

Youngjae took his brother to the guest room. "Lay down here. I'll go get some water, don't move!" Youngjin was sprawled on the bed, looking like a frog after you run it over with your car— I need to stop 🤡 *inhales* lets continue the story, shall we?

"Here, drink this.. ok. Now, go to sleep." Youngjae tucked in his brother, giving him a kiss on the forehead. "Good night hyung."

The younger walked back to his room, basically throwing himself on his bed. Tired, he closed his eyes but just as he was about to enter dreamland, Coco started barking. "Are you kidding me?!" He whispered and groaned.

He put on his slippers, walking out the room. Coco sat on the couch while looking out the window, barking. Youngjae sighed, picking up the small dog and taking her to his room with him.

Youngjae laid down again, this time having coco laying on his chest. "Goodnight.."

A man dressed in black got up from his hiding spot which was behind a bush. Quickly he called his boss.

"Boss, he's asleep now. Unfortunately, his dog is with him and his brother is with him too."

"The dog? Youngjin? Bring both too. I'll send more men right now." The call ended.

Jaebum looked at his reflection in the mirror. His black hair covered his eyes slightly, and his face had a look of concern.

He'd been having an uneasy feeling ever since the meeting ended. Although he knew he should follow your gut feeling, he chose to ignore it.

A soft knock was heard. "Jaebum hyung? Jinyoung hyung wants to talk with you." Yugyeom said on the other side of the door. "Ok!" Jaebum quickly washed his face before getting out of the bathroom.

"What took you so long? Did you like, build the bathroom before using or something?" Yugyeom joked. "I didn't, let's go before jinyoung yells at me."

𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙟𝙖𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙫

Everything was dark. I couldn't open my eyes even if I tried. I could hear barking. Coco..?

Slowly, I started to open my eyes. I looked around to see my brother unconscious and tied up, Coco had a chain leash on.

"I see you woke up." I turned my head to see a figure standing in the shadow. "Who are?!" I tried to move completely but I was also tied up to a chair.

"Your worst nightmare."

"Are you a clown?"

"No..?"

"Then you aren't my worst nightmare."

The figure stood in silence. I kept looking at it with a, 'are you serious?' face. "That's beside the point. Boss wants to see you shortly so cut the attitude."

"Boss.? What boss?!"

The figure came out the shadow, he was tall and scary. Well at least for me because I'm not like the tallest person on this earth. I felt a shiver down my spine as he came closer to me.

"You'll find out soon." We both heard a groan from the other side of the.. dungeon? Basement? I don't know.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the oldest Choi sibling, Choi Youngjin." The tall male said. Youngjin tried to set himself free but couldn't. "Don't even try. It won't work." A female voice said, entering the room.

"Who are you?! What do you want with me and my brother!?" Youngjin yelled. The female voice walked into the light.

"Who am I? I'm non other than Kim Jennie. Remember me, Youngjin?" She said, smirking. "Unnie, don't act all tough."

"Lisa!"

"Sorry sorry!"

I stared at them weirdly. I didn't know if they were mean or not. The tall guy was sure scary though.
