As the three walk towards the exit of The Ruins, Genesis was looking down in the dumps cause of a monster's death. Chara noticed them feeling all gloomy so she asked. "Hey why are you gloomy? Are you sad cause Edward killed Papyrus?" 'You don't understand, but yes, I still don't understand why he had to die?' Genesis asked in confusion. "It's how I work ok, for all we know you might be dead cause you're a spirit." Edward told them. 'I'm not dead! Just asleep I saw myself sleeping!' Genesis argued back. Chara laughed at them and Genesis wondered why so they asked. 'Why are you laughing Chara?' "Because what you saw was not sleeping, it was your dead body," Chara said still Laughing.
'No that can't be!' Fiora exclaimed and fell in desperation. "There there I've been there, Edward will put you back in." Chara tried to cheer them up. 'Then how was I visible to Papyrus?' Genesis asked. "Edward is the reason. He's a nephilim with outstanding powers to show spirits real look in front of others when they have enough power in their souls." Chara explained. 'How is that possible though?' Genesis asked again. "I was full of Determination when I came into view but you're is a mystery to me." Chara said wondering. "We're nearing the exit of this area so are you two done chatting or what?" Edward asked as they were grew closer to the exit.
"Edward we're just wondering why Fiora became visible in front of Papyrus." Chara explained. "You're were full of Determination and you have a red soul." Edward told Chara and he continued. "She was filled with another power to appear. And it's not Determination what are the seven souls that are needed to break barriers again?" Edward asked the both of them. " There's Determination, Patience, Bravery, Preservance, Justice, Integrity, and... Kindness that explains it!" Chara shouted and Edward's hidden wolf ear twitched at the sound! "QUIET, YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME YOU SHOUTED!" Edward shouted. "Sorry Edward." Chara apologized as they reached the end and opened the door then they exited.
'Ok we're out and now what?' Fiora asked. "We find our next target, but we need to find who took Papyrus' role." Chara said. "First we take a break, I'm bushed after all that walking so let's past that bridge over there and look for something to eat." Edward said almost out of breath. "Ok let's go, to the bridge." Chara said. 'first Let's give Edward something to drink first because he's exhausted.' Genesis replied worriedly. "Don't worry about me I'm-." He gasps. 'No you are not fine! I'm getting some water for you!' Genesis shouted rushing to a water source that is nearby. "Fiora... why did they go near the bridge they know they can barely be seen or carry anything unless they have enough power in their Soul." Chara said.
Edward caught some of his breath and spoke. "She's to kind, I'm afraid she might be taken away from us when we bring her back." He tried to stand and Chara caught him. "What do you mean Edward?" Chara asked. "Remember what I told you on my ninth birthday?" Edward asked Chara. "Oh yeah, you were looking for seven females to break the Barrier of Emptiness to get to the one who is spreading the rumors of killing Angels and Demons for more EXP and LV in your AU." Chara mentioned. "Yes and she may be th-" Edward was interrupted by another voice. "Hello human do you kno- wait there's two of you?" The voice asked. Edward turned to see who it was and Chara gasped at the sight. "Chara?" Edward asked the person still trying to catch his breath. "Wait how do you know my name?" The other Chara asked. "It's because I'm Cha-" Another interruption by the other Chara. "Well hello pretty mirror." Shift Chara said. "Hi." Chara greeted herself to herself. "I'm Chara Dreemurr and I am here to greet yo-... Are you ok?" Shift Chara asks. "All he needs is water do you have some?" Chara asked her otherself. "Here drink it before you pass out." Shift Chara said handing Edward took the water bottle and he took it and dranked it fast.
"Easy there not that fast." Shift Chara said. "It's ok he is fine after all." Chara said. "Ok by the way what are your names?" Shift Chara asked. Chara was thinking what name she can use but she remembered the perfect one. "I'm Chari Wolf and this is my brother Edward Wolf." She greeted both her and Edward and herself. Edward finished the water and spoke up. "Thanks I really needed that and here's your bottle back." He handed Shift Chara the water bottle but she said. "No keep it, it's yours now." "Thank you so much, really." Edward thanked with a smirk. "It's nothing so what are you and Chari going to go Edward?" Shift Chara asked. Edward looked at Chara wondering why she gave her that name. "To Snowdin Town we really need to take a break." Edward said. "Ah, Snowdin is right past this bridge and a bit farther through a forest but you see my brother Rei is looking for a human so I need you two to pretend to be one ok?" Shift Chara ask them. "Ok we'll try." Chara said a bit nervous."
They walked past the bridge but saw Fiora coming towards them. 'I got some water and... What is that?' Fiora ask seeing the water bottle in Edward's hand. "It's a water bottle duh." Edward replied. "And you why did you use Charica's name when I used to call her that?" He asked Chara. "I had to think of something cause there's a Chara in this AU so I had to give her name." Edward looked down but back up and gave Genesis the water bottle to put the water in. "Put the water in there and quick we're going to the post." He said and they walked off. "Quick stand behind that conveniently shaped lamp and hide." Shift Chara said but only Chara went to hide Edward just stood there like last time he went to another AU. "Chara did you capture a human for me to take and become a royal guard." A goat boy asked Shift Chara. "Yes Rei." Shift Chara said. "Ugh I told you not to call me that but bring them to the next part of the forest ok?" The goat Shift Chara called Rei asked. "You got it." Shift Chara said. "Wow you that was strange but good luck getting out of the forest, it's full of mazes and traps so you'll need. Shift Chara said. "Ok we'll be fine." Edward said.
