Strategy's POV
Long before the first pale fingers of Sun's light pried apart the blinds, Master strategy was wide awake. He rolled out of his cozy bed and fumbled for his glasses on the table nearby. Wearing it, he threw the windows wide open and made a cup of coffee for himself. Drinking the hot, warm coffee rejuvenated his senses. Caressing the coffee cup with his hands, he ran through the plan in his mind once once again. This was not his first plan and definitely not going to be his last. He was taught and trained for this since he was five and he loved it. He was made for this. He strived to get the knowledge of everything in the world. He mastered the science of living things and non-living things. He learnt how to murder someone without getting caught, how to rob a bank, break in a prison and hundreds of such things. Yet he was nervous and restless like a child in the first day of his school. Taking a hot bath, he garbed himself with his usual formal clothes from the massive oak wardrobe. Wearing those gave him immense amount of confidence and he want to muster every ounce of confidence in him for today. He took a glance at the wall clock fashioned in the shape of a red Chinese dragon. It was seven. Each of the eight had been given a suite for themselves. The room automatically filled itself with what they want. The colors of the rooms' wall reflected their moods, His wall was glowing in a deep yellow glow. Yellow signifies confidence, he mused, or could it be confusion?
He wondered what other marvels the immense white block of a building had in store for him. He paused for a moment to see his reflection in the mirror. People see your clothes before they see you. Your clothes resemble your character, His master's voice echoed in his mind. He corrected his tie and combed his hair. Perfect, he praised himself. Leaving his room, he jammed the door shut with a bang and moved to the Great Hall. The light of a ten thousand candles illuminated it today.
"Ahoy, Strategy." Master Healer grinned, flashing a perfect set of white teeth. He was the definition of attractive. His blond hair shined in the light, his blue-grey eyes gleamed. He has a perfect square jawline and chiseled out body. He looked like a child version of Jaime Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones. A survey states that most of the good looking men are dumb, his intellectual mind processed automatically.
"Morning, Healer." He greeted back. "Where are the other masters?"
"Um, Fighter is in the gym, working out like a maniac, Sorcerer and Gravity are in the Training Arena. Tracker is in the master control room, bashing the keyboards. The others are not yet present." He announced with a smirk.
"Call all of them at once. It's high time they assembled here."
"Going to give one of your boring speeches, I presume." He smiled cockily.
"Boring, Yes. But very important and informative."
"Alright." He sighed and switched on the microphone in the nearby table. "Hey fellas," his voice boomed in all of the rooms in the mansion.
"We have an urgent meeting now. So get your ass out of there and come to the Great Hall. I repeat..."
After sometime, Sorcerer and Gravity came in, sweating like pig followed by a bedraggled Light and Thief. In no time, all the other masters filled the room.
"Yeah buddy, Let's hear about your freakin' plan." Master fighter's voice reverberated through the well acoustical hall. He had a bored expression on his face. But Strategy's psychological senses indicated that deep down he was much interested.
"Yes, Fighter. It's time to brief you guys about the plan." he paused and cracked his knuckles. "As I had said earlier, there was a high tech weapon base in Sydney, Australia. It belongs to a company called Swordsisters. This company signed an agreement with our enemy Master Speaker, agreeing to produce weapons for them, not the normal ones, mind you, but magical, powerful."
"Well then, it must be well guarded as well. How can a bunch of sixteen year olds break-in and procure their weapons?" Master Thief inquired with a serious with a serious expression on her face. She was dressed simply yet attractive in a black jumpsuit, her fiery red hair double braided.
"That's a good question, Thief. Actually, yes, we can, by following our plan. The weapon base is guarded with a sphere of Barrier spell. Master Sorcerer here, might have heard about that thing." He gestured towards him.
"Er, yes. It's a, it's like a invisible circle of shield covering and protecting any desirable object. It will only permit those with an enchanted card. The card act as a key to the shield door." Sorcerer uttered.
"Exactly, that is a major obstacle for us."
"Can't we break it?" Tracker asked tentatively.
"We can, but it would take a painfully long time and much energy. Most importantly, it will alarm our enemies. So, if we try to break it, in no time, we will find an army waiting for us inside. So, that's ruled out."
"So, how are we gonna enter the building." Gravity mumbled, rolling her sky blue eyes.
"Coming to that, there is a chink in the armour, a weak point. Tracker found that there was a hole in the sphere, enough for a small animal to go through, or most preferably a bird. Our Master Thief here has a pet bird. Am I right?"
"Yep. I have an African Grey parrot. Her name was Flora." She cupped her hands and called the name. After a few seconds, a white-grey parrot came in flapping it's wings and sat on her shoulder. "Flora, say hello."
"Hello, jerks." It squeaked.
"Hey, tell your bird to have some manners. I don't like being called a jerk." Master Fighter bellowed.
"Why are you so rude, She was so cute." Master Light mused, batting her eyelashes.
Fighter opened his mouth to say something, only to interrupted by Strategy.
"That was not the point. This bird is a well trained one in stealing, attacking, speaking et cetera... So we can use her to enter the shield and fly to the base, steal an enchanted card from a guard there and come back out again. But, only one person can pass through for one card. So, Thief will enter the base using the card and somehow trick those inside and sneak to the control room of the building. Then, she will switch off the Barrier Spell. After that, we will split up. One team will attack them in the front and the other in the rear. So, it's a walk in the park."
"Easier said than done." Master Thief quipped with a teasing smile on her face.
"This is the best plan I could ever think of. I believe in you. The plan wholly lies on your shoulder."
"Okay then, you can count on me and Flora." She smiled genially. Strategy gave her a thankful nod.
"Are you insane? there must be a hundreds of guards there. How can you fight and escape them." Sorcerer asked with utter disbelief.
"I'm not gonna fight them, you idiot. I'm gonna trick them, I am trained for this." She said with a proud expression on her face.
"Well then, let's go break some necks of men. My hand is yearning for this. I'm in." Fighter yelled and grinned happily.
"I'm also in, if you let me eat some breakfast first." Light added innocently.
"You can count on me, too." Sorcerer said reluctantly.
"Does everyone agree to this plan." Strategy asked with brimming happiness.
"YES." they cried in unison.
