I still love you..
Katsuki was cooking dinner in the kitchen when he heard the door being slammed. "Shoto?" He called out to his lover.But no reply came.Of course like any other person,he would worry.So he walked into the living room just to see Shoto punching the wall.
"Sho!What the fuck?!" Katsuki asked as he took a handkerchief and wrapped it around Shoto's knuckles tying it tightly after. "What were you thinking?!" Katsuki asked in confusion. "Shut up" Shoto told.Which was very out of the blue. "Hey,are you okay?" Katsuki asked softly.
"Are you hurt,Sho?"
"What happned at work today?"
Katsuki kept on asking as he began to worry more about the fact that Shoto wasn't answering his questions.
"SHUT UP!" Shoto yelled at Katsuki.
"You know what?!You're annoying!I can't stand you here!" Shoto pulled his hand away roughly from Katsuki. "What the hell are you saying?!I'm just worrying about you!" Katsuki bickered. "Yeah,that.That is my fucking problem Katsuki.You asking me this,asking me that.I don't need you here or whatever okay?!" Shoto yelled at Katsuki. "So worrying for you is wrong?!" Katsuki raised his voice trying to look strong,though his eyes tells differently.
Katsuki was afraid.Katsuki was begging the gods to hear his prayers,but here he is,his heart slowly being broken by the man he loved.
"Well,I need space!You wouldn't understand that- You're a selfish asshole remember?!" Shoto felt his blood boil ten times hotter.Katsuki kept on reasoning with him and Shoto couldn't keep it together anymore.He's too tired for this.Then,he did something he didn't expect he wouldn't have done ever to Katsuki.
Shoto's hand flew across Katsuki's face making a slap.Katsuki was taken aback.Shoto slapped him.For what?For worrying?He wanted to cry.But he couldn't.He wanted everything to be okay but not this.This is to much.What did he do to deserve this?All these while he was the one to comfort Shoto when he's in a bad mood.The room was filled with silence.Shoto's breathing was heavy and Katsuki's head was low.
"Shit— Kat-" Shoto exclaimed as he reaches out a hand to Katsuki after realising what he was doing.Shoto held Katsuki's shoulder but before that,Katsuki moved away.With that,Shoto looked at Katsuki trying to find words and say something.
Katsuki held his tears in.He couldn't do this.He wants to cry but not in front of Shoto. "Kat,I'm sorry.I- I lost my control-" Shoto struggled to explain even if he had the words for it.
"You said you needed space" Katsuki spoke firmly.
"Then get out" Katsuki faced Shoto,eyes red and watery. "No,Kat please I-" Shoto's words got cut off.
"I SAID GET OUT" Katsuki yelled in frustration as his voice cracks.
Shoto could feel the sadness in Katsuki's voice.He knew Katsuki didn't want to be with him right now.But he also knew that Katsuki knows he lost his cool.He can't believe that just because he couldn't capture a certain villain,he let out all his anger on Katsuki.Katsuki does not deserve all this.
Shoto wanted to fix the mess he made and confront Katsuki.But then again,he had no choice.Maybe they really need space.Things hasn't been really good between them actually.They haven't talked in so long due to different shifts.One would wake up alone and the other would fall asleep alone.Usually they would have at least breakfast and dinner together but now?None at all.Text messages couldn't even be bothered to check.Then,came along shifts that includes travelling.This would lead one of them to be at home,alone.
And with that thought, he packed his bag and head towards the door.
"Katsuki— I- I'm sorry.I don't think I mean all that.I'm so sorry" Shoto turned his head towards the teary eyed blonde. "Get out.GET OUT!" Katsuki shooed Shoto out.
As Shoto stood outside,he said one last thing before he leaves. "I still love you Katsuki.I'll come back" With that he closed the door softly.
As Shoto left,Katsuki dropped to the floor and starts crying and screaming.He was really in pain.He loved Shoto so much to loose him.Fights weren't supposed to end like this.Their fights would always end with a 'sorry' and a hug.This time,they might never actually not get back together.
But Shoto promised to come back.He can still trust Shoto.He hopes Shoto knows how much he loves him.
