~Seven years later~

You walked into the police station, ready to get your assignment for the day, only to see All Might, Enji and Aizawa. You were now twenty-two and a full time hero called Phoenix. Your hero costume was a red suit that covered your whole body up to your neck and a red mask that fit over your eyes. The costume helped you control your fire better. It also had a belt that held bottles of your tears for healing.

"What?" You asked rudely. You didn't hate them but you only talked to other pros if you needed to and you refused to have a partner. They looked at each other before looking at you again. Enji walked up to you.

"We need to ask you a favor." Enji asked. You crossed your arms.

"What kind of favor?" You asked. Over the years, Enji had learned from you about your secret relationship with his late son Touya and had welcome you into his family if you needed a place to crash. You had your own place but did stay there about once a month to be with Shoto, who you treated like a little brother. Aizawa and All Might walked up. You looked at them.

"We need another hero to go with Aizawa to the training camp." All Might said. You sighed. You remembered that time. You trained twice as hard during that time, believing that if you did, it would help you hunt down Jin.

"Why me?" You asked. Aizawa yawned.

"Because we asked you, and we need a healer." He said. You laughed a bit.

"I will go on one condition." You say and look at All Might.

"Three weeks off So I can look for Jin." You say. All Might looked at you.

"Listen (y/n). Looking for villains is good but...but this isn't healthy." He said. You gave him a glare. Ever since you got your hero licence, you have felt like he, along with others, were holding something back.

"Then we don't have a deal." You said. Aizawa and Enji glared at All Might. He sighed.

"Fine. Three weeks off." All Might said. You smirked.

"Then you have a deal. When do we leave?" You asked.

"Three hours." Enji said. You gave a nod and walked from the room.

"See you at the school then." You say. You walked to your home, grabbing a few clothes and throw them into a bag. You looked at a picture on your dresser and picked it up. It was a picture of Touya and yourself. He was kissing your cheek as you took a picture. You smiled. This was a few days before...before Jin...You gave a frown and held in your tears.

"I will avenge you." You say, placing the picture back on the desk and walked out. You walked to the school, seeing a few students waiting.

"Whoa! Look! Its Phoenix!" A kid with Green hair said. You placed your bag down with the other bags and leaned on the wall. You looked at the students, seeing Shoto. You smiled at him and he walked over to you.

"Hey Shoto. How's school?" You asked. He gave a small nod, letting you knew it was fine. He took the death of his bother hard and, like you back then, only spoke when he wanted or needed to. As students came, Aizawa walked up and the bus came.

"OK. File on." Aizawa said. You walked over as the last student got on and looked at the students.

"You got a good class Aizawa?" You asked. Aizawa smacked your head.

"I have a full class. Remember your year. I failed seven kids." He said. You laughed a bit as the bus moved. It was weird to be working with your old teacher.

"True." You say and see the kid with Green hair is nervous.

"Relax kid. I'm only here as a favor to watch you all and make sure your healed." You say. He then raised his hand. Aizawa groaned and you laughed a bit.

"What kid?" You asked and smiled.

"What's it like to heal someone? " He asked, getting a notebook out. You frowned, remembering Touya.

"It's...It's great when you can. It sucks when your too late." You say and cross your arms, becoming silent. The bus then became filled with voices as the students talked but your mind went to Jin. You never forgot his face or voice so you would be able to recognize him when you met him again. Your hands turned into fists as you thought of him.

"Jin. Just you wait." You whispered in hate, giving a small glare at the ground. Aizawa looked at you but didn't say anything.
