Chapter 3

Aiden POV:

Morning,

"Sweetie, wake up! It's time for school!". A woman's voice screamed to my ears even though she's downstairs. " Alright, alright, I'm up! Now Ma!". I quietly yawn while standing up and doing a couple of stretches. "Thanks, btw Ma!". "You're welcome, Sweetie!" I smiled a bit and headed to the bathroom to fresh up myself before preparing for school. Like doing a bit shaving on my face, brushing my teeth and all that stuff, and hell no, I won't take a shower in the middle of 6 am. It's freezing. Anyways after refreshing myself up, I quickly changed my clothes after that, grabbing my jacket and bag before leaving my room.

"Hey, Ma! Can I use my car to school today?". My mother glance at me. " Sure Sweetie, go-ahead but be careful". She smiled. "Before that eat ya breakfast first". "Why of course I will eat my breakfast since ya said, ima big boi" I smiled at her as she handed me my breakfast plate. "Thanks, Ma". "You're welcome Sweetie, now if you need me, I'll be in the living room, okay? Or probably in my room". She said that as she glanced at me before leaving. "Alright, Ma". I smiled at her as she nodded and begin to eat my breakfast as I pulled out my phone from my pocket, scrolling on the internet for a solid minute for me to finish my breakfast after that I put the plate in the sinks and walked to the living room to grab my car keys.

" Kay, Ma! Im heading out!". I walk to the door and opens it. "Kay, sweetie! Be safe!". I shut the door close and walk to my car. I open the door and slides in as I start the engine and hit the road. I haven't introduced myself yet, Haven't I? Well, my name is Aiden Bryce but just me Aiden, that person I called Ma is actually my Aunt, I got abandoned by my parents when I was little, idk why but that's what my aunt told me, tho I still refers my Aunt as my mother. Also, I have an Uncle too, but he's a bit busy at his farm, sometimes I help him when I have the free time and he's fine with that. They both love me and im okay with that.

It was a peaceful day, I was driving quite calmly to school. I smiled as I arrived at the school and parked my car at the parking lot. I actually like school, I just like the idea of spending my time learning stuff and get to learn something with my friends. Even though im sure 90% what I learn isn't gonna help me in real life but eh, I still like it. Idk why but I suddenly fit into the jock category, probably cause im fit? Not sure, but im actually a bit nerdy you could say but whatever it's cool that I can be a jock while being a smartass in the test. I walked out of my car and locks it before heading to the school building. "Well, im a bit late, but im sure a few minutes won't hurt a fly".

I quickly rush to class and made it. Barely, I sighed quietly and enters. I take my seats near my friends. "Hey, what's up, where's Mrs.Jefferson?". I ask one of them. " Yo Aiden! Well, the teach ain't here yet". Bruce replied to me. "Ah, alright then". I relaxed a bit. "Well so much for being late". Bruce chuckled a bit. "Well, ya know the teach she's always like that and don't worry ya doing great on the test, she won't mind ya being late once or twice". "Yeah, I know". I smiled at him and sigh. "Alright, then chief". We both ended up laughing a bit but was disrupted by a loud laugh by two people in front of us. " Hm? hey Bruce who's that?". I quietly whisper to Bruce. "Which one? The tall dude or small? Also, why are we whispering??".

Bruce looks at me with a confused look as I smiled at him. " I just want to know them, they look like close friends". Bruce tilts his head a bit. "Well, sometimes ya honesty is a bit weird.. But sure? The small dude is Hilbert, meanwhile, the tall one is Chase". " Ohh, I quietly glanced at Chase and Hilbert. "Not gonna lie, Hilbert kinda has a cute laugh". Bruce looks at me in confused once again. " Alright- Mr.Admire, don't stare too long or they got suspicious of you". "Ah- yeah you were right" I look away and quickly pulled out my stuff on my desk. Mostly notebooks and a pen or pencil

Bruce glances at me. "Do you have a thing for Hilbert?" He whispers quietly to my ears. "Hm? Ah- I..I don't know.. Maybe? Is it obvious?". I look at Bruce while trying to hide my blush. " Well, kinda cause every time when Hilbert walk pass ya, you always stared at him? Well not stare, more like checking him out". I look at Bruce and blinks for a couple of seconds. "Urgh.. Idk how to explain it..-". I stared at my notebook for a solid second as Bruce suddenly places his hand on my shoulder. " It's fine, im still ya friend if you like him". He smiled and I nodded while smiled back at him.

"Hey, man can you help me with the question?". Bruce is struggling with a question and asks me if I can help. Well, it was an easy question, so I just help him until he understands. "Ooh, thanks man". Look not all of the Jocks are Jackass some of us think about our future. While some of us are just wild cards thinking everything is perfect without studying. Anyways, the class was fine but it was disturbed by Chase and Hilbert. I look at them and chuckle as I see Chase was messing around with Hilbert but get caught by Mrs.Jefferson.

The whole class was laughing and cracking up at Chase while Hilbert is smiling and silent giggling. How cute. After the funny accident, everything the class was doing well. Well, of course, I need to help Bruce a bit but eh, I don't mind helping a friend. Luckily I got the same class as Bruce, Hilbert, and Chase even though I barely know them but I can't start my day without seeing Hilbert, I guess. As time passed by and we switch class to class. I was quietly watching Hilbert the entire period. I just can't get enough of him seeing him smile.

Well, sometimes I got a bit carried away- but I managed to hide it. I hope, anyway it's lunchtime. "Hey, Aiden let's go to the canteen and meet up with the others!". Bruce said that as he packs his stuff up. "Sure, sounds like a plan" . I packed my stuff up and quickly follow Bruce as he left the class. I glanced at Hilbert one last time before leaving. " Hey! Wait up!". I smiled and quickly run towards Bruce. "Are you gonna tell anyone? About it?". Bruce look at me. " Nope, but if you are open about it, sure then? If you want?". "Nah, I don't think everyone gonna have an open mind just like you, so let's keep it as a secret". We both arrived at the cafeteria. " Sure". Bruce replied as he quickly ran towards the gang. I smiled and just follow him.
