Chapter 6

Aiden POV:

The next day, Morning

I get up super early today cause of what happened yesterday. I got to interact with Hilbert! It was fun and he was cute.. Also, Chase seems cool, reminds of Bruce a bit. I wish I befriend them sooner. Oh well, and I have a routine to do in the field today. Yay sports! I quickly rush to the kitchen. I already fresh myself up and took a warm shower. Im basically ready for school just need to eat first. Ma was surprised a bit as she stared at me and I just laughed it off. "Well, someone is up? Well, that's nice". Ma smiled at me as she walks closer to me and gently caresses my cheek with her thumb. " Well, I just finished making breakfast.. So let's eat together?". I smiled and nodded

"Sits down first, I'll go grab ya breakfast, okay?". Ma said that as she grabs the plates and set it on the dining table. I just do what she told me and take my seat while smiling as she set my breakfast plate down. "Thanks, Ma". "No problem, now eat". I smiled and begin to eat my breakfast while Ma is eating beside me and she decided to ask me a question. " How's school? Aiden". I look at her while tilting my head a bit. "Well, it's fine, why you ask Ma?". "Nothing Kiddo just checking on you". Aww, she's so sweet.. lucky to have an aunt like her. I give a smile after that I nodded. "Well, that's good.. Have any people you like in school?". I quietly choke on my food as I coughed loudly to her question- she smiled and handed me a glass of water which I quickly drink as I slowly calm down.

She grinned at me and place her hand on her chin while resting her arm on the table. "So..?". I look at her while blushing quietly trying to hide it but she already knows that im blushing hard..- "I.. Um.. Kinda have a crush on someone..". I was blushing hard and I want to end myself on how red I was. "Was it a boy or a girl?". I paused for a sec and look at her then looking down at my food. "A..A Boy". She smiled and patted my head. "Ya should be lucky we're not like "them".. So is he cute?". I glanced at Ma for a brief second. "Them..?". She looked away and speak in a cold tone on her voice. "Oh, its nothing.. So, is he cute or not?". I quietly nodded as I stared down on my plate. She smiled softly and patted my head once more. "That's nice, and it's fine if it were a boy. We will be by your side.. Okay?".

I looked at her and smile softly. " T..Thanks, Ma..". The smile on her face didn't fade at all as she replied to me with. "You're welcome Sweetie". I smiled more and finish my breakfast. I stand up to put my dishes on the sink but got interrupted by Ma. "It's fine, you can leave it there". "Really?". I looked at her and she nodded. " Also, I need to tell you something, since this will be your last year in high school.. I think you ready to know..". Ma looks at me as her smile faded a bit. I looked at her for a bit and tilt my head slightly. "What is it..?". She shakes her a bit. " Later". I nodded a bit. "Um.. Okay". I rubbed the back of my head as I look away slightly. This is awkward.. " I.. Um.. Gonna get my car and go to school now..". Ma nodded. "Stay safe".

I smiled at her and nodded back as I grab my car keys before going out. My bag is already on my shoulder as I walk to my car and enters it. Starting to the engine and head to the road while listening to the radio. I hummed quietly, open the window slightly as I feel the cold wind hits me calmly. This is nice, I keep driving as I arrived at the school and you should know the drill already. Parked my car, meeting with friends, and heading to the field well not all of it- but eh whatever. I kinda left a notebook in my locker, so I went to grab real quick since it wasn't far and my friends are chill with it. Im sure the coach won't mind, hopefully. As I head to the locker are I accidentally bump into Hilbert. He kinda fell down. A bit too hard and I quickly help him up.

"Are you okay?". I crouched down a bit and look at him in the eyes. Hilbert's reaction was a bit strange, he looks at me differently but I just smiled at it as he suddenly answers me with a, "Well, yes but since your a hunk? I guess you didn't notice me eh?". Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting that from him- like legit I wasn't expecting that. I stared at him for a brief second before answering him. " Ah, my bad". I give him a soft smile and gently pats his head while helping him up. Basically, lift him up. It's not a surprise since he's small and easy to carry. I patted his head one more time and giving another soft smile. He blushed a bit and quickly look away. gawd he's cute.. And oh my lord that cute shy "Thanks" just brighten my day even more.

But it was interrupted by Leo suddenly screamed my name. "AIDEN!! The coach would be angry at us! If we're late again! I'm not in the mood to do a marathon!". I look at him chuckled a bit as I replied back with a shout back. " Aye! Gimme a sec!". Idk why we're are shouting even though we were just 10 meters apart lol. "Fine! Well, go first! Okay!". " Yeah! Sure! Tell the coach I'll be late! Okay?". Leo said that as he ran away with the others. I just laughed quietly as I turn my head back to Hilbert but he's gone- what- no- my lips pout a bit as I sighed quietly. "Well.. Damn".
I looked down a bit and saw a sticky note on my arm. "Hm? " Thanks again" aww.. He's cute".

I smiled again and keep the note in my pocket as I quickly rush to my locker grabbing the notebook. I shove the notebook inside my bag and quickly runs to the field. "Pls don't be late- pls don't be late" I repeat to that in my head repeatedly even though I know I won't get in trouble since Leo already explain it to coach, I hope. I quickly rush to the male locker and see everyone is gathering around. Phew- im save! I quickly take a seat next to Bruce while breathing heavily.  The coach was explaining about the upcoming game or something- I'll ask the others later about more details. After the meet up with the coach, I changed my clothes cause since we're starting an early practice and decided to hit the field early. The same goes for the others.
