A new day and new beginnings. Preeta Karan and Shristi are awake and doctor is examining Preeta. “Your wife is much better than yesterday Mr Luthra. But we will keep her here for another day. You can take her home tomorrow. Nurse please change her dressings and give her a sponge bath.”
Karan thanked the doctor and asked Shristi to help Preeta in changing and freshening up and came out of the room. He called Sarla Maa and then Rakhi to inform about Preeta’s condition. He called lawyer to take update on the case progress.

In the afternoon everyone came to hospital to meet Preeta. Rakhi and Kareena apologized to her for their bad behavior and not trusting her when she warned about Sherlyn and most importantly for not standing up for her when she needed support of a mother. Sarla came forward and she too was crying and apologizing for fixing her marriage with a monster. Preeta being Preeta forgave everyone and looked at Sarla and then towards Karan. Karan understood what Preeta wants. He came forward and held Sarla's palm and asked “Sarla Maa I know I have hurt Preeta a lot and have made millions of mistake but I can not live without her and I want to take my wife to our home. Will you please trust me with her for the last time and I promise you won’t see a single tear falling from her eyes. I need her to heal me, without her I have become a monster who couldn’t distinguish between right and wrong and was blinded by rage. I need my happiness back to kill this monster and it can only be done by my babydoll.” Sarla looked at Preeta and when Preeta nods Sarla agrees to Karan giving him blessings and asking to take care of her precious daughter.

Out of blue Mahira came bursting staying “This can not happen. Karan is supposed to get married to me. It is already announced in media and I’m his fiancé. Our engagement haldi mehendi everything is done. You guys can not do this.” To everyone's surprise it was Preeta who responded “Mahira don’t you dare associate Karan’s name with yourself. He is my husband and don’t you know forcing a married man to re-marry to someone else is crime. Do you want to go with Sherlyn and see how jail life feels like? I thought so, it will be better if you keep a km distance from Karan.” Seeing the angry tigress Karan mumbled “ Wow babydoll I never saw this possessive  nature. I’m clean bowled.”

Sensing a tensed environment Rakhi came forward and took everyone outside. “We should let Preeta rest, she is still weak and need silence.” Coming outside “ Ramona, I’m really sorry for my son and his temperament. I had always been against this marriage not because I didn’t like Mahira but because Karan was already married. I should have been stern from day one. But this marriage can not happen as this is not right. I hope you understand.” Mahira was out of her mind listening this “ Rakhi aunty you can’tdo this on my wedding day, what will my friends say? They will make fun of me that I was only boasting about marrying Karan and he left me at alter. This can not happen to me. I’ll make Preeta pay for this. She is a gold digger and bitch.” And a tight slap was placed on Mahira, everyone was shocked and rooted to their places and turned to see who slapped Mahira. They saw Karan raging in anger and another tight landed on Mahira. “How dare you use such cheap words against Preeta. Do you know who she is, she is Preeta Karan Luthra and the Karan Luthra stands in front of her. You already knew I don’t like you, you already knew I’m married to Preeta still you wanted to marry me. You wanted to marry The Karan Luthra so that you have a status popularity but Preeta she wants only Karan without any glamour and money of  TKL and you are calling her gold digger. Look into mirror Mahira then you will know who is real gold digger and bitch. I warn you to stay away from Preeta otherwise  you will have to pay heavy consequences for messing with our life. You can check on Sherlyn and think if you wanna join her.”

Rishabh came forward to relax Karan and asked everyone to leave. “Karan you should go and take rest at home. We are here, you can come back after couple of hours.” But Karan was adamant and asked Sammy to get a change for him from home. He will freshen up here only and come home tomorrow with Preeta.
