chapter 7: cracking the code?

That certain day. Her voice. Her words. He remembered it all too well.

"GOOD! Now enjoy life more smile more"
"Express yourself don't hide your emotions"

That's a lot to say coming from her. If anything he should be the one telling her to do all that. Telling her to enjoy and live life to the fullest after everything she's been through it only makes sense if you he would have been the one telling her all that instead.

He shook away his thoughts focusing more on what he was doing before his thoughts took over him. Figuring out what the words mean it had been a few weeks since she last had those repeated to her, the dreams only showed kai. That's what olivia told him.

He got so many different ideas on what it could actually mean but none of them seem correct the last thing she heard was "it is a pain at first but it is worth it at the end" he seemed suspicious.

Although there was only one thing left to do to try to summon a spirit. He knew it would be risky but is there any other choice?

Standing outside of her majesties room he could tell she was asleep this would be the perfect time for him to sneak away and summon kai in order to crack the code. Taking in a small breathe the butler gently opened the door to a room somewhere far away so he doesn't have to wake olivia he walked into the room and was able to feel the temperature change it was colder than it should he thought it was strange but he brushed and proceeded to go on with his plan. He continued his way towards the middle of the room placing the materials he needed to summon the spirit.

He lighted up the candles and drew a circle around him. He then set a triangle just outside of that. He knew he needed a prized possession of the previous ruler in order for this ritual to be a success so he took out of what seems to be a ring. This ring belonged to kai he took it from olivia the other night and she never seemed to notice it was missing because she never thought anyone would take it so kept it safe in her room instead of carrying it around with her.

He placed the ring on the triangle. The only he had to do now was to call out his name and the spirit will appear right in front of him.

"Prince kai are you here?" Luke said "I summon you" shortly after that a light appeared out of nowhere he was very amused with himself because he successfully summoned a spirit that he performed the ritual successfully. Suddenly the light started to blind Lukes sight and with an explosion has occurred causing luke to fly across the room slamming his head against the wall.

Soon after that a mysterious figure appeared. He was wearing a white gold suit, he had brown but his facial features were unclear. That made luke worry he thought that he must have messed up the ritual somehow but as the figure approached him he recognised the figure he had brown hair green eyes he was tanned. It was none other than prince kai himself.

"Prince kai?" Luke said with his widened he pinched himself to make sure that he wasn't hallucinating.
" haha hi there luke" kai said with a smile on his face. Luke was shocked there he was kai the cheery prince was standing right in front of him..his eyes weren't playing tricks on him it was definitely him which could only mean.
'Wait the ritual! Did I-?!" Luke exclaimed "haha I'm afraid not luke I aas actually given a chance to visit it's long story but hey I'm here" "although that was a very clever thing to do heh oh look always one step ahead of everyone are we now?" Kai said.

Kai held out a hand to luke to help him up. Luke accepted the prince's hand and got up. He then dusted off his clothes and straightened his posture. He was happy that he got to see the Prince right before his very eyes oh what a lovely sight to see. If only olivia were here to see her big brother.
