Your P.O.V.

"Get back here!"

Screaming, heavy breathing filled my ears as I was running through the forest away from my home, my family and the hunter. The hunter screamed at me as I was running, I turned around to see where he was but I only triped and fell down to ground. My vision slightly blurry, as I fell down from small cliff.
I heard huffing from distance.
Even through the pain in my legs, I got up and started running again. I turned into my puppy form in order to run faster.
He was still chasing me, almost could say right behind my tail. Looking forward I found a small hole, I wanted to hide in there. But as I jumped into air, something caught me on back of my neck.

"You thought you can escape me? You savages are so funny, thinking how you can escape that easily."

He just laughed as my eyes filled with fear. He pulled something from his pocket and used it on me, putting me to sleep.

I woke up, just to find myself in cage.
I curled into corner and just lay there, waiting.
After some time of driving and the vehicle bumping up and down on the road, the truck jumped up and the back doors opened, the truck jumped once more and my cage jumped. Making the cage jump in the air and off the truck onto the road.

I closed my eyes just waiting for the worst, but actually nothing happened.
I opened my eyes, I was in middle of the road in the night sitting in the cage, unharmed but shocked.
Footsteps filled my ears, I looked around to find a person coming closer to me. He looked at me in awe, he took me from the road up into his arms. He put me down after some time and unlocked the gate, it seemed we were in a small building of sorts. I just run out immediately and curled under the table in the shadows.

"Hey, it's okay little one. I'm not going to hurt you."

I didn't trust him, he is a human. I was still in corner shaking slightly with fear.

"Maybe you're just hungry. Now where did I put that...ah there it is!"

He put plate in front of me and put some meat with sauce on it from a can. I sniffed it and it smelled really nice, I stood up slowly from the shadows. I looked at him and then back at the food. That smell, I couldn't hold myself longer and I started eating. He pet me gently on my head between my ears.

"Now, don't worry little one I'll take care of you."
