Sun light gently tickled my nose, wanting me to wake up. I opened my eyes and stretched myself, groaning in the process. I stayed in the bed, just watching my surroundings. Through the glass door I saw Mr. Kong coming. I forgot to tell, my bed is near the entrance to the school. He went inside and after his talk with one trophy, he came to me.

"Well hello there Spiky. Don't forget, tonight you're going to be here alone."

He pet my head and went away, maybe to his office. I just stayed in my bed. I didn't have energy to go somewhere, but my stomach had other plans. So I went to find some food.

Today nothing much happened, so most of the time I was just laying in my bed. Soon the sun started to set and kids were leaving the school. Last who came was Mr. Kong.

"Be good guard dog, Spiky. Goodbye."

I woofed and watched him leave, after some time I fell asleep.

Another night, another lesson. I transformed and get my back pack. I only did few steps just to hear Cula screaming. He was on Frankie's back almost falling, I don't know what happened, I just saw them. But his last move ended as a bumb into shelf were trophies are. That caused the crystal trophy to fall down, Cula tried to reach for it, but it shattered into pieces.

"Nononononono! What have you done!"
"I'm sorry (y/n)."
"Sorry isn't going to fix it. Cula, I'm alone here tonight to guard this school. They'll think it was my fault!"

I was scared, what will happen next. Kebi came to this scene and others soon too. Kebi and Zizi fixed the trophy and put it back, but I was still in panic. I was in corner, where my bed is. I was just sitting there, worrying myself. I felt hand on my shoulder, it was Cula.

"Hey, it's okay. Kebi and Zizi fixed it."
"For how long? It's matter of time when principal will find out."
"Oh, come on (y/n), maybe he'll not notice at all."
"That was his favorite trophy."
"Oh. Uhm..."
"Cula, please tell Mister Reaper I won't come on today's lesson."
"But why?"
"Please, just tell him that."

He sadly leave me alone. I felt tears coming into my eyes, I didn't hold back, I just let it all out. My sobbing filled the silence in the hallway.

I was in my puppy form, my eyes still red from yesterday's crying. I watched Mr. Kong come to his beloved trophy.

"There's a smudge."

He said, licking his thumb and touching trophy. Trophy fell apart, I could fell his anger bubbling inside him.

"Spiky!!"

He screamed, I came slowly to him with my ears down.

"What is this?! You were supposed to guard last night and what did you do? You broke my trophy!"

If look could kill, I would be already dead.

"That's it, from now on, you're living outside!"

I looked at him with my puppy eyes, he just crossed his arms.

"Don't try to make puppy eyes, you're going outside, that's it!"

I sadly walked to my bed and picked it up, moving it outside. I was trying to find a place where I can get nice sleep, I didn't found it at all.
The sun started to set and I still didn't find place to sleep. All kids left and nightguard locked entrance to school, now was time for us, monsters, to come out. I was near playground, when I heard yawn, it was Kebi.

"Oh hey (y/n), what are you doing here?"

I transformed and looked at Kebi with sad look, he looked at my hands.

"Principal found out what happened to that trophy, he blamed me and kicked me outside. Now I'm here trying to find place to sleep."
"You can stay here, behind this tree."
"It's too close to playground, I'll never escape from kids."
"Hmm, maybe Zizi will know the right place."

We went to place, where trash bins are.

"Zizi! Are you here?"

Called Kebi. I screamed, when Zizi raised from the recycling bin.

"Yes?"
"Zizi, (y/n) needs place, where she can live. Can you help us?"
"I'll try."

So we started our searching.
