Chapter 12

I woke up, not really remembering where I was, in the floor of my music room with Chris' arm around me and a blanket and pillow. Jonny was sitting in the corner in a blue chair strumming the electric guitar.

"How did you even get in here?", I said smiling.

"Chris didn't lock the door."

"Oh...", I said laughing.

I looked down at Chris laying on my chest and rubbed my hand up and down his back. Me and Jonny laughed for while until Jonny started to talk again.

"Guy and Will stopped by."

"Oh really? How did they figure out where I lived?"

"They called first. They came to check on you guys, you weren't answering your phones. When they stopped by I told them You were asleep. They laughed and they went down to the pub down the street to get some breakfast. They invited us to join them after Chris got up."

"Sounds good."

"I'm washing your clothes. Well, my clothes and Chris'."

We started to laugh. I felt Chris slightly move and his eyes slowly flutter open.

"Good morning...", I said giggling looking down at Chris.

"Jonny?", I said.

Jonny walked out the door and closed it behind him smiling.

"Good morning.", Chris said smiling.

"Your cute when your sleeping."

"Well thanks.", he said giggling.

"Really, you are. Fucking adorable actually. Jonny took our clothes to wash them but brought us some towels. Guy and Will stopped by to see if we wanted to get breakfast. They invited us to join them when we woke up."

"Sound brilliant. I'm quite hungry.", Chris said.

"Well, how bout a shower before we go."

"Probably a good idea...", Chris said smiling and elevating himself to reach my lips and slightly kiss me.

"It's best we do it now. I think Guy and Will are expecting us."

"Alright....", Chris said with a saddening tone and then smiling at me.

We both got up and opened the door. Walking up the stairs and to the showers. I went to the shower in my room and he went to the shower in the guest room. We were expected soon and the last thing we needed to to was jack around in the shower together, so we spilt up to get ready.

Twenty minutes later, I made it out of my room with black skinny jeans, vans high top sneakers, and an X&Y t-shirt on. I walked down the hallway to the guest room and opened the door. I walked to the bed and sat down, waiting for Chris.

I saw the bathroom door open, revealing a clean Chris wrapped in a towel. He walked over and put his old clothes on, which Jonny had washed and laid on both of our beds.

"Jonny's like a little maid. He basically cleaned the whole downstairs.", I said laughing.

"Yeah. He's nice to live with.", Chris said smiling.

Chris walked over to me and I got up and got closer wrapping my arms around his waist. We stared at each other in the eyes and had a minutes of silence. So quite, we could hear each others breathing.

"X&Y? Nice."

"Well, thank you.", I said laughing, looking down, and then looking back up at him.

"Shall we join Jonny downstairs?"

"We shall."

Chris held his arm out like a prince and I placed my arm through. We walked out the room, through the hallway, and down the stairs, joining Jonny in the common room.

"Are we ready to go?", Jonny said looking behind us smiling.

Me and Chris looked each other up and down, then in the eyes.

"Yes Jonny boy.", Chris said smiling.

The stereo had been on all night and was back on repeat through the whole playlist, playing "I see Darkness" by Jonny Cash.

I walked over turning the stereo off, along with the Christmas lights and opened the door, waiting for Chris and Jonny to exit. I slipped the key back into the music notes and grabbed Chris' hand walking down the stairs with him, Jonny close behind.

"It shouldn't be too far from here. They said it was right down the street.", Jonny said.

"I think I can see it. Yep! Right here!"

We stopped next to the door and Jonny held it open for me and Chris, inside I saw Guy and Will turn their heads and smile at us.

"Hey!", Guy said.

We all smiled and look at each other.

"Well, let's get some breakfast!", Will said.

We all sat down at the table and a waitress came over to get our order. Every one of us ordered pancakes with a side of bacon. Including Chris, I was quite surprised!

"Wow! Your ordering bacon?!", I said smiling and looking at Chris.

"Yeah! I haven't had it in a view years! I think I'm gonna try it again."

The waitress brought our food over and sat it down on our table. I watched Chris eye the bacon and slip it into his mouth. A large smile appeared on his face.

"It's good is it not?!", I said smiling at Chris.

"It's amazing! Absolutely brilliant! Why haven't I been eating this?"

"Well, remember? You kinda went all vegetarian.", I said giggling and grabbing his hand under the table.

I leaned over and whispered in his ear.

"Your beautiful. I love you..."

He leaned over and whispered in my ear.

"Your fucking brilliant. I love you too."

All the guys around us kinda smiled and giggled a but. Jonny had a smile from ear to ear because he knew exactly what we were saying.

"Secrets don't make friends!", Guy said laughing while devouring his pancake.

I felt Chris grip on my hand get tighter.

"Trust me, this isn't a secret.", Jonny said.
