Kevin works hard only to find out that today is a bad day. It seems that everything that could wrong does. First, his power goes out. Then, the internet loses its connection. To make matters worse, he is late to work, and his father is not too happy about it.
Kevin sells over 3,000 cars today, but is his father glad for him? No, his dad still has no satisfaction in a job well done. He gets fired right after lunch, so he has to clear out his office and head on home. He now has no way to pay his bills.
He sighs as he checks the mailbox with the thought that it is probably nothing, but more bad news. Imagine his surprise when he brings it inside and discovers the first envelope has a check in it. The amount is just the amount he needs.
To say he is taken by surprise is to put it lightly. He feels relief that his troubles are over. At least for now it seems. He still needs to find a new job though as he did just lose his other one.
"The only thing is who will hire me when they find out my previous boss was my father?" He asks himself.
He finds the situation to be ironic as he mother did try to warn him before she passed away to find work outside the family business. It is almost as if she knew he would be miserable working for his dad.
He sorts through the rest of the mail and finds something interesting things. "Wow, I got another letter from Kelsey," He states.
Dear Kevin,
Glad you find me to be less of a bore than I imagine myself to be anyway. I do hope things go well for you. Also, hope you do not mind I sent the money. I was not sure why, but somehow I felt like it might come in handy.

Soon, he finishes reading the letter and smiles. He thinks this is the highlight of my day the letter from the woman I love. He can not help, but hope perhaps this means something greater.
