Chapter 4: Loss

Lucy's Pov

After Piper left I wanted to call her but I figured her and Tristan were having a serious talk but since Piper didn't tell me the details I don't know exactly why she is mad at him but when she was ready she's tell me, that's the thing with me and Piper we don't pressure each other into revealing anything until each other is ready, but we know when something is up. Piper calls it our 'BFFI" which is short for Best friend feelings intuition. I'm happy to say I have a friend that I can connect to on that level, but after a certain amount of time we have a rule, if either of us is in a mood for the same thing for over a week we have to tell the other what's wrong either that or we have to eat then plates of our least favorite food and publically ask out our crush.
It's pretty late about 12 in the morning and I'm craving chocolate there is a little convenience store about 5 mins, Aquarius wouldn't have any problem with it I think. I slowly walk down the steps but since when was stealth my strongest attribute, after about 2 steps out of 14 I slip on a sock and tumbled down the steps, when I looked up Aquarius was standing over me and holding and rubbing her brow, I could feel the irritation radiating off of her. I quickly rose to my feet dusting off my skirt.

"Um... Aquarius I didn't think you'd still be up." It was at that moment I realized I goofed up.

"Oh you didn't think I'd be up so thats why you were trying to sneakily come down the stairs." The longer I stand there, the more likely Aquarius is going to kill me.

" I was just going to... um store... um place.... um chocolate..me." English the language of nonesense, anything I say makes sense that is now a rule.

Aquarius walked closely up to me and narrowed her eyes looking for any signs that I'm lying to her. I could feel my heart pound out of my chest, remember Lucy look innocent try not to look guilty oh wait I am innocent I guess under Aquarius's glare I feel like I had just robbed a bank. After what seemed to be decades Aquarius's facial expression changed from accusing to hunger so that means she wants the steak and cheese sub from the store which also means she is going to let me go.
I wish that I stayed home that night crawled back into my bed and stared at the wall until I fell asleep but that's not hear I did. I instead opened the door grabbed my purse and stepped out the safety of my home and out into the unknown. I walked for a total of 7 mins I wish I was faster maybe then I could have provented what happened next.

I was walking back from the store happy like a baby with a lolipop but just as a lolipop wears out happiness is replaced with fear. On the opposite side of the street where I was a I could see a woman walk down a alleway and I watched as a man followed her and I knew something was off when he looked around looking if someone saw him. I took out my phone out my purse and dialed both Natsu and Piper and merged the call.

Piper, Natsu Nike&Bill store alleyway bring police!-Lucy

Lucy are you okay what's going on?-Piper

Lucy I'm on my way to Pipers house right now Piper call the police and tell them to meet us there.-Natsu

Lucy stay safe and do what I know you can.-Piper

Luce stay safe please.-Natsu

I quickily hung up the phone dropped my bag and purse and ran into action. Once I made it down the street into the alleyway darkness surrounded me enclosing me and I walked without any sense until I heard the first scream I ran towards the voice and then I saw the unspeakable a man moving in and out of a younger woman about my age I ran towards her and grabbed the man by his shoulder and pushed him off of her I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins I punch him square in the face and I don't stop until he's on the floor blood dripping from my knuckles and from his face he reached for my hair and pulled causing me to scream in pain but that doesn't stop me I continue to pummel him into the ground.
He falls back onto the floor and I step on his pelvis and twist my foot and since I felt my heel digging into his pelvis I grabbed his hair and picked his head up a little only to slam it back into the ground I pushed the hysterical screaming of the girl and I hate knowing that I'm enjoying every second of what I'm doing to him since he thinks he can do this to women I'll make sure he never does this again. My knuckles throb and I want to stop but I can't he needs to DIE. I kept punching until he's unconscious but I stood over him and walked over to the girl who was screaming hysterically.
I tried to reach for her but she began to scream louder and then out of no where she passed out either from shock or exhaustion and I didn't even realize how tired I was because after a few minutes of standing I fell. Slowly darkness surrounded me but I didn't lose consciousness until I heard the voices of the two people who love me most.
