Woong Pov
I woke up with an arm over me. I could still hear the waves as I looked up at Youngjo Hyung's sleeping face. He looked so peaceful but.. why were we cuddling? No matter, I wanted to avoid any awkward moments so I slowly slipped out from the leader's grip and rolled over to face Dongju. I jumped noticing the maknae's eyes were already open. "Dongju, you creep." I punched his shoulder and he laughed softly at me. "Well, it was cute." He smiled softly, showing me a picture he had just taken on his phone of us cuddling. I blushed, seeing the way I had clung to him in my sleep. "Ugh, whatever I'm gonna go outside." I groaned, getting up and throwing on a jacket before heading outside. The air was crisp and cool as I took a deep breath, soaking in my surroundings. The rising sun shone a pretty pink onto the water as it crashed against rocks and sand. I sighed, feeling my worries melt away. I decided to go on a little walk and look for some wood to put on the fire since the coals were still warm.
By the time I came back, Youngjo, Geonhak and Dongju were all sitting by the coals. I walked over, sitting in the space between Dongju and Youngjo. I put the small logs onto the coals and Youngjo began blowing on it to make it burn. Eventually, it caught fire. Dongju nudged me and I looked over at him. "You two were adorable cuddling each other in your slee-ah!" I interrupted Dongju by tackling him into the sand and tickling him. "Hey -hey, Woong, it's okay. I didn't mind." Youngjo chuckled, lightly tugging me off of the maknae -who begged for mercy. "You say that like you weren't the one with your arms around me." I almost scoffed as I crossed my arms. "Only because of how cutely you clung to me in your sleep." Youngjo smiled teasingly, rubbing the back of his neck. "I- I must've thought you were my pillow." I stammered, focusing my attention towards the fire as I shuffled the coals with a stick.
Everyone laughed a bit as I pouted but thankfully just then, Seoho and Keonhee came out, wincing at the sun. "So, who's ready for breakfast?" The second eldest questioned with a stretch and a soft yawn as he rubbed his eyes. Everyone let out hums of approval so the brunette made his way over to the van to fetch food out of the ice chest as Keonhee sat down between Youngjo and Geonhak. "Mornin Keonhee, how'd ya sleep?" Dongju smiled, holding his hands out to the fire. "Pretty good." He smiled warmly before looking off at the rising sun. "I wish we could all stay here forever." He sighed. The idea brought a smile to my face, "Me too."
Seoho then came back with a carton of eggs and some bacon, along with two pans, two spatulas, and a bowl. Youngjo scooted a little closer to me so that Seoho could sit with Keonhee and start the food. Seoho laid out the pans on the rack that was over the fire and started throwing on the bacon. "Hey Keonhee, do you think you could grab me the paper plates and plastic utensils?" He smiled warmly. The smaller man ran off to grab the stuff from the car before jogging back and handing the stack to his elder.
Seoho took the bowl and cracked some eggs into it before whisking it around with a fork. He poured the mix into one of the pans. As I watched, I felt Youngjo's leg touch mine and it reminded me again of my dream the other night. I felt my face flush and decided to go cool off a little by the water. I felt the heat leave me as I walked away from the fire. I walked up to the water and let it come up to my feet. I sighed and tried to forget myself but all I could think about was my feelings for Youngjo and the way they confused me. I was broken away from my thoughts though, as Dongju walked up beside me.
"So, we have two surfboards still strapped to the top of the van, wanna go out on the water? It's a chill day and there's no waves.. but then again I don't really know how to surf anyways." The maknae chuckled from beside me. "I don't know how either, but sure." I shrugged with an excited smile. "We'll go out after breakfast." He grinned, "Which is about ready." We turned, half jogging back to the fire and sitting back in our spots as we were handed plates. Seoho divided up the food and we began eating. "When we're done, Woongie and I are gonna go take the boards out onto the water." Dongju smiled. "I'll be your lifeguard." Geonhak hummed back. We finished our food and put our plates and stuff in a trash bag. Dongju and I went over to the van to get stuff, I grabbed my bag of clothes and pulled out some swim trunks and Dongju grabbed the boards.
I opened the front door of the van, blocking my body as I changed into the swim trunks. Normally I wouldn't be so conscious of showing myself but something in me was more nervous than normal. Dongju started to run off towards the water without me, so I slammed the car door and chased after him. We both came to a halt though as we got to the water. Dongju turned and I followed his eyes to Geonhak and Youngjo who now stood together watching us. "Cool, we got our lifeguard-s on duty." He grinned putting emphasis on the S.
