Mari Pov: 

After everyone left third period, I sighed. Pulled out my phone and called Damian 

"I'm so sick of her lies. I'm going home." I said as we walked out of classroom. Damian gasped. "No! Mari!" I stopped and turned around, walking back into the classroom. 

"Dove, I'm sick of  Françoise Dupont. and Paris. and France! and the sun!  and needing to pretend! I want to come home!" he sighed and said, "How about this, I will ask Bruce to arrange your class a trip, to W.E.  dose that work?" I groaned. 

"Thank you. I love you dove." I said then hung up.  On my way out of the classroom I got stopped, by none other then my best friend. Alya looked at me, then asked,"Marinette? What's going on?" I groaned, I'm sick of acting nice to. So, I said, "Why do you care?"

Alya Pov: 

After I left the classroom I waited in the hall for Marinette. When she arrived at the door she was saying 

" -sick of her lies. I'm going home."  the person on the other end of the line said something, and Mari walked back into the class room. Unable to help myself I listened in. Marinette said, 

"Dove, I'm sick of Françoise Dupont. and Paris. and France! and the sun! and needing to pretend! I want to come home!" I gasped, but she didn't hear me. Then she said, "Thank you. I love you dove." Then she started to walk out, I stepped in her way, and asked, "Marinette? What's going on?"  she groaned, and said, "Why do you care?" and stormed out. I just stood there completely shell-shocked. 

Nino and Adrien found me first. Nino cocked his head, "Alya?" When I didn't respond, he touched my shoulder. I jumped. "Oh! hi Nino." They looked at my confused, Adrien said, "Where's Marinette?" I told them what happened. They looked, stunned that our sweet kind innocent (A/N: 🤣The Irony!!) would do such a thing. 

//Time Skip// next day, at school. 

Alya Pov: 

Ms B. walked in and stated attendance. When she got to Marinette, Marinette ran in and said, "I'm here!!" Ms B laughed at Marinette's tardiness. Then she said, 

"Ok class. I have a very special announcement." Mari smiled knowingly, then, before Ms B could finish, Mari said, "we're going to Gotham!!" Ms B looked shocked for a bit then she nodded.

 "Yes, Marinette, You're right. Anyway, All of your parents said you could go, so. . . we're leaving tomorrow at 8am Sharp."

Marinette laughed. and it sounded purely evil. The whole class turned to stare at her. When she stopped laughing, she said, "What are you brainless fools looking at?" (A/N: Just kidding! She wanted to say that, she really said,) "What?"
