After all had came down and everyone were out of hiding ,Tiffany cried and blamed me for mother been captured and shouted at me in a fit of rage. I ran off into the woods traumatized by what had just happened which left me heart broken and my heart became as cold as ice towards the scorpion monks and wanted revenge so badly .Tiffany's anger was justified and soon subsided when she recalled the promise she made mum to always protect with from danger even with the last drip of blood in her and also with her life .
** Chapter 4 **
Xylem was lost in desolation. Isolation and desolation filled the air and heart of the people of xylem; one could sense a lot of despair in their faces.
Everyone still confused of what they had done for them to loose their homes .All the elderly went to pay a visit to the seer to ask what had gone wrong and what is also yet to come but the seer answered and said the gods were silent that once they speak she would deliver the message. This cause a lot of gear and anxiety in the whole heart of xylem as the days passed.
It was the annual celebration of new relationship and xylem was known to be the host each year but this time things were different;the people of xylem were still so sad and bothered about what had gone wrong and what is yet to come and they recall their encounter with the lunatic at the gods temple gate saying "Fallen fallen us xylem the great city, a city set upon a hill that is filled with colours, happy inhabitants, richly blessed and the envy of other Kings and kingdom is fallen and a laughing stock. who shall bring back her lost glory ? ". The people were aback of what they heard because there was a time they ignored the lunatic words as rubbish but almost paid a big price for ignoring his words so they vowed not to ever ignore his words again.
