TIKATA (god of Xylem.)

STRANGE POWERS

Tiffany took it upon herself to rebuild xylem but the people supported her whole heartedly .
Xylem was rebuilt and brought to its former looks with a lot of hard work and the people were still waiting for the gods to speak.
Lately ,I've  been feeling and experiencing something strange but could not figure it out and i was scared.
I felt the need to confide in my sister but I wasn't so sure she would believed me so I kept it to myself.
I was always fond of going into the woods though it was against the law for kids to venture into the woods as there were tales of there been witches, wizards and spirits in the woods.
I always venture in but before I could go deeper my sister caught me on several occasions.
                    ** chapter 5 **
I found enough courage in me to tell my sister about the strange things I experienced but she there were figment of my imagination from the tales Benny has been telling me. She did not believe me and we walk downtown where we saw Lagartha . Lagartha was a friend of mine and her parent were small scale farmers.
Lagartha and I were so close so ,I told her about the strange experience I've been having though, she almost believed me but ,my sister told her I was having series of nightmares from the tales Benny has been telling me. I was angry about what my sister said but a kept mute  like a dumb where I sat then, I decided not to tell anyone again.
Soon I started having nightmares about the woods specifically stating that there was a temple in the woods though I did not understand what it meant but I told no one about it this time hoping to understand later .
                    **Chapter 6**
I made a plan to sneak into the woods during the winter celebration when on one would notice I wasn't inside the kingdom .
It was the festival of wishes and everyone was so happy today cause all their wishes would come true . Everyone was so mindful not to wish death or disappearance to anyone during the festival .
Everyone kept on wishing for miscellaneous things but  I wish for the meaning of the dream I had and the strange things I had experienced lately. That day while I lay on my bed, i had a quick dream and in my dream I saw myself in a strange temple and a man came out of the inner part of the temple saying "you're gifted with powers beyond the imagination of man. The powers you process is what other gods like you seek to have . you have the powers to things come through and you're the saviour of mankind especially the people of xylem for they are waiting patiently for you to save them and you are Tikata " and man slowly disappeared then I woke up. This is strange I mumbled to myself subconsciously .
When I began to recall the past events that had left everyone dumbfounded I felt so acrimonious inside me. I understood the fact that I had powers but, I was troubled for the cause that I don't know how to control the powers I had .I suddenly became to hear the wishes the people were making to the gods secretly and the wishes of the people were rushing into my ears like a flowing river that made me so dizzy and unable to control myself then when the voices seemed not to go  ,I shouted stop loudly which made Tiffany rush down to my room where I was to check if I was doing okay and I told her I was fine .
                  ** chapter 7 **
The plans I had of sneaking out became so difficult since Tiffany told me stay and watch the people and how they are making wishes to the gods . I realized ever since I was born nobody told me the name of the gods so ,I asked Tiffany but she said I should go ask Benny. When I asked Benny he said they did call out the name of the gods but when the seer told them not to say the name of the gods loudly again but they could, inside their heart and everyone acquiesced and from that day saying the gods name out loud was prohibited. I asked also what the gender of the god was and he answered and said why this sudden questions about the gods . I laughed and ran off to my room.
