Chapter 9

***KIANS POV***
When I pushed Sam into the wall Dylan's mom came rushing into the room with Sam's parents.
I guess we were being loud, oops.

"What is going on?!" Dylans mom yelled

"They just got into an argument, and things escalated." Dylan said quietly to her mom.

"What's the argument?" Her mom asked

"I honestly have no idea. I'm going on walk. I don't know when i'll be back" Dylan said and then she walked out of the room down the stairs and out the front door.
Her mom looked pissed.
Sams parents looked mortified with mine and Sams behavior. They thanked Dylan's mom for having them over and then quickly left.
I apologized for causing such a commotion in her house and then left myself.

I headed to my moms house to get my car and went out to go look for Dylan.
The fact that she walks away from all her problems pisses me off. If you don't like what's going on in front of you make a goddamn effort to change it.

*** DYLANS POV***

When I got out side, I started walking.

I walked for about 45 minutes and found my self at the pier. I'd never been here before, so i just walked around taking in my surroundings, thinking about the events that had happened at my house.
As my mind was in its own little world, I accidentally bumped into someone which brought me out of my thoughts. It was Emily, Jc's sister, and she was with another girl. Her hair was blonde with lowlights, and her eyes looked amazing, they were brown with tiny blue streaks in them. She was wearing a black beanie that said #Selfie, a gray zip up hoodie, and high waisted jeans.

"Dylan?" She questioned

"Yeah. That's me" I smiled

"Oh it's nice to see you again!" she squealed and hugged me, "this is my best friend Emi" she gestured to the girl standing next to her, "Emi, this is Dylan, the girl I met at Jen's party"

"Nice to meet you" Emi and I both said, shaking hands
"So, what's up?" I asked both of them

"We are just walking around the beach, checking out the pier. What about you? What are you doing?" Emi asked

"I just needed some fresh air so I went on a walk. My mom invited Sam and his parents over for dinner and Sam brought Kian, and I couldn't handle being in my house with Kian, so I went on a walk" I explained

"Oh well, i guess coming here was no help" Emily shrugged

"What? Why?" I asked, confused

"Because silly! Kian is right over there" she giggled and pointed behind me

I turned around to find that Kian was indeed behind me, "Oh shit, uuuhhhh, I got to go, but Emi I'd love to hang out sometime, can I get your number?" I said kinda in a hurried manner. Emi gave me her number.
I told them if Kian comes and asks them about me, they should say they haven't seen me, and then I sprinted off towards Starbucks.

"Why hello there beautiful, what can I get you?" The Starbucks cashier asked me.
"Ummm, Ill get a Grande Mango Dragonfruit Refresher" I said grabbing money from my back pocket, and paying. Shortly after paying, he called out my name and handed me my drink and I left.

"DYLAN!" I heard someone yell from behind me. I turned around to be face to face with Kian.

"What?" I hissed

"Why did you run off?" He asked angrily

"To get away from you." I said pushing his chest and turning around to walk away
