“Who was he?” I asked Chisato, once the strange who seem to know Chisato awfully well was well out of sight. He seemed pretty close with her, maybe it was a friend from high school or maybe an ex-boyfriend that wanted to win Chisato’s heart again!
Or I was just want too many romance drama’s.
Chisato turned to me looking quite nervous. “Um, he is just a guest at the hotel who I knew pretty well.”
I narrowed my eyes at her, not quite believing her. “So he’s a friend.”
“Not really.” She says as she carried on to move the trolley to the next room.
I stopped asking questions since I don’t really want to bother her with this. We carry on cleaning the guest rooms, talking about other things besides that man we saw.
A few hours later, we finished and it was just in time for lunch.
“Hey, my friend and I are going to the cafeteria for lunch. Would you like to join us? I’m sure she would like to now about Nagisa’s cousin.” She smiled.
Why not? It’s not like I have any other friends here. “Sure, thanks.”
Chisato and I walked to the cafeteria for the staff. I see Chisato scan the large crowd of staff for her friend, she kept doing this until a woman who looks about our age waves her hand frantically.
“Hey, over here!” She exclaims, waving her hands around.
“Let’s go.” Chisato says. I nod and follow Chisato.
We walk to the table where the woman was sitting. “Hey, who is this?” She asks Chisato whilst smiling at me.
“This Kira, she is Nagisa’s cousin.” She informed. “Kira, this is Sakiko. She is also a friend of Nagisa.”
“Nice to meet you.” I smile politely.
“Wow, what are the chances that you are here cousin?!” Sakiko grins.
“Strange, right?”
She laughs slightly. “Sort of, but’s cool.”
