"I warned you!" The silver striped tom's words rang through the shining meadow, loud and clear. "I warned you, and you never listened!"

Amberhiss stared ahead with a stoic expression as the tom, Cyclonewhisper, circled her, his fur on end, his eyes slits. "I kept on telling you to let up. I told you that you were torturing that cat. You never did anything. And now look at what's happened!" He gestured with his tail to the three new figures of StarClan. Stitchmaw, Stumpjump, and Maroonpool gazed on with painful expressions at the interaction. "Three of our Clanmates, dead by your carelessness!"

"What carelessness?!" the she-cat exploded, breaking herself from her stare to nothingness so she may glare him in the eye. "I did what I thought I had to do. I made as many changes as possible to ensure all went well. Just because it went wrong doesn't mean that I am to blame."

"I offered plenty of advice for it to go right! You turned me down every time!" Cyclonewhisper yelled in her ear.

"How was I to know it'd go wrong anyway?!" Amberhiss screeched back. "And how are you to know that you'd be right, either?! Did you have another vision and just didn't share it?"

Cyclonewhisper glared, his starry eyes matched with hers. "I didn't need a vision. I had common sense."

"Well, if you didn't have a vision, you couldn't be sure," Amberhiss declared. "Didn't your past vision come true? So we know they are more credible than 'common sense.'" She said the words like they were a poison, a kit's fabrication of credibility.

"I wish I had never had that vision!" he exploded. "If I had not had that vision, we would have never done anything. Blessedbone and Rottenkit would have grown to be normal, healthy warriors of their Clan. None of this would have happened!"

"You don't know that!" Amberhiss shouted. "Rottenkit would have turned evil and murdered more!"

"Did you have a vision?" was his only reply in a low, angry voice.

Amberhiss gazed at him with a fire in his eyes. But although his words had successfully shut her down briefly, they couldn't stop Stitchmaw, who joined in the conversation. "I think you did all you could, StarClan," he mewed. "But it's time to put everything in the past."

"You weren't here, were you?" Cyclonewhisper mewed with a wrinkled muzzle; Stitchmaw shook his head in reply. "Then you have no idea what happened here. How many of my warnings Amberhiss ignored."

"I didn't ignore your vision, now did I?" she growled.

"No, but you ignored everything I said after!" he snarled aggressively.

Though Stumpjump stayed put, it was Maroonpool's turn to speak now, leaping in front of Amberhiss. "That's enough, whoever you are!" he forcefully told the tom. "Back off!"

"You don't know the half of it!" Cyclonewhisper hissed to him, but he soon found himself overwhelmed by many angry cats.

"Back off! You heard me, back off!" a deep, saturated brown tom yelled.

"Maybe you should've done something yourself! Do her job for her!" a ginger she-cat threw at him.

"StarClan never makes mistakes! She had this all planned out from the beginning," a beige and black she-cat vouched for her.

Amberhiss jumped on top of this idea, seizing the opportunity as fast as possible. "That's right," she growled. "If Rottenkit had lived, he would have taken far more lives than Blessedbone did. You saw way more than three cats in your vision, didn't you?"

"Visions are cryptic," Cyclonewhisper muttered slowly. "They don't always show things the exact way they will be."

"That's a lie!"
