Alexander slumped onto the desk in front of him, the cold table surface felt relieving against his warm forehead. He was currently well hidden deep into the library surrounded by the stacks of books he tried reading to keep his mind off his brother - who was now probably surrounded by adoring fans.

He was starting to gain a killer headache as he tried to reread the same sentence over for nearly ten minutes about the origin of vampires, he just couldn't focus. Only yesterday his brother was picked to participate in the Tournament, only yesterday he talked to Fred, only yesterday night he didn't get any sleep - he wouldn't of slept even if he could, the loud noise from the party in the Hufflepuff common room dragged on all night and he wouldn't be surprised if the whole House looked as miserable as he did.

Thankfully it was Sunday so he didn't have any classes, or he just might've tossed himself off the Astronomy Tower.

That wouldn't have been a pretty sight.

Grumbling under his breath he couldn't see how his situation could get any worse until a loud bang made him nearly jump out of his skin. His wide grey eyes snap over to see the Weasley twin scurrying to pick up the books they knocked over before Madam Pince could scold them.

They were trying to lean against the shelves and wait for Alexander to notice them but that didn't work when piles of books decided to ran down on the pair.

Alexander let out a low groan once they twins made eye contact with him and they shared mischievous grins. Together they bounded over, stopping at the opposite side of his two person table the brown haired boy was seated at, they shared another look and Alexander couldn't help but sink down in his chair and drop his head onto his arms which were crossed on the table's edge.

"Am I really seeing this, Freddie? Or are my eyes deceiving me?"

"Oh no, I'm quite sure pretty boy Diggory 2.0 is sulking in a dark corner of the library, all alone unlike his brother who is currently flocked by loving fans."

"Well he isn't alone anymore, now is he?"

"Nope Georgie, he's now luckily graced with our presence."

"Leave me alone to suffer." Came Alexander's plea that was muffled by his sweater sleeve fabric.

"He speaks!" George announced, "I feared he stopped breathing the second he dropped."

"Listen guys I'd very much appreciate it if you'd just go away, I'm not in the right mind space to deal with the two of you." Alexander tried to say in the nicest way possible but his head was pounding to vigorously for him to really care.

"Wow Fred, you were right, he does seem different." George whispered but Alexander still heard it.

"Of course I'm right. I'm always right."
