Chapter Five

"I like you to Trunks! You're my best friend." Goten Said with a smile, Trunks was furiously sweating. "N-no Goten...I have a crush on you." Trunks said hesitantly. Goten stood there looking atTrunks with a blank face. Trunks worried even more and started to regret ever telling Goten. Thoughts were running through his mind. He just ruined each other's friendship. Things are never going to be the same. Trunks looked back at Goten and looked down. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything" Trunks said sounding defeated. Goten was still staring at him with that blank face. He hadn't said anything at all to Trunks. Trunks could feel tears start to form and he tried to hold them back but was unsuccessful and began sobbing into his hands. Goten finally decided to do something finally making up his mind. He removed Trunks's hands from his face and pulled him into a hug. Trunks was suprised by the sudden act but enjoyed it. He tightly gripped on to Goten as not wanting to let him go. Goten shushed Trunk calming him down before he spoke in a soft tone. "I like you to" Goten finally said. Trunks felt his heart come back together hearing those words come out of Goten's mouth. Goten felt happy, he never did seen Trunks as a love interest but for the past couple months he started to build up his feeling for him. He was so shocked from Trunks admitting he froze and didn't know how to respond. Trunks was extremely overjoyed now. It's like he was never crying in the first place. "Can we lay down now?" Goten asked with a yawn. Trunks nodded and and went over to his bed and crawled in with Goten. They held each other as they slowly drifted off to sleep.

Sunlight beamed through the window causing Goku to wake up. He slowly climbed out of bed so he wouldn't wake up Vegeta and did his morning routine. After that he decided he would let Vegeta sleep for the time being and walked out into the kitchen to fix himself up some grub, and by that he means he's going to ask Bulma's servants to make him a buffet. As he was making his way he could feel eyes drilling into him. He looked over and noticed Chi-Chi standing there with her hands on her hips.

"What's wrong Chi-Chi? Why are you just standing there?" Goku asked. Chi-Chi thought Goku was playing dumb but when she saw the serious look on his face she snapped. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! DO YOU NOT RECALL YESTERDAY?! YOU REALLY HAVE SOME NERVE GOKU!" Chi-Chi shouted and without a doubt awoke everyone in CC.

"Jeez Chi-Chi calm down! There's no need to yell you're gonna wake everyone. To answer your question yes I do remember yesterday. I'm telling you now, we are over Chi-Chi. We are getting a divorce." Chi-Chi was about to open her mouth to say something when Goten came in with Trunks following closely behind. "Mom, Dad, why are you guys arguing?" 'So much for them sleeping' Goku thought.

"It's nothing Goten, Mom just isn't happy with me. She won't have to deal with me for long though because we are getting a divorce." Goku turns towards Chi-Chi. "And i'm taking Goten!" Goku stated firmly. "Oh no you don't! I'm taking my son and there isn't a thing you can do about it!" Chi-Chi protested. Goku and Chi-Chi started going back and forth on who got to keep Goten.

"Hey why can't I get a say in this?" Goten said. Chi-Chi and Goku both looked at Goten. "I want to stay with dad! I'm sorry mom but you aren't the best. You're always forcing me to study and never let me train with dad or Trunks or anyone!" Goten said. "You're being childish! Those things aren't important! You need to study hard!" Chi-Chi yelled. "Chi-Chi, he's a half sayian! It would only make sense if he wants to do those things instead of studying." Goku stated. "Here you go again! You are all a bunch of lost causes! You don't want to do anything but train!" Chi-Chi snapped.

Vegeta walked in rubbing his temples. "Can you keep it down! Your bickering is pissing me off!" Everyone looked over to Vegeta. Goku, Trunks, and Goten all stepped back a little knowing its best not to mess with morning Vegeta. Chi-Chi however approached the sayian. Vegeta raised his brow "What do you want?" Chi-Chi smirked and told Vegeta "I'll get you back for stealing away my husband." She threatened. "Didn't you just say he was a lost cause? Why do you care?" Vegeta said. Chi-Chi not knowing how to respond she stomped out of the building whilst claiming how she was going to get revenge on them.

"What's got her all worked up?" Bulma said yawning. Hearing the argument going on she couldn't go back to sleep no matter how hard she tried. "She's apparently going to get 'Revenge' on me and Kakarot because I stole him." Vegeta said with a smirk pulling Goku closer to him. Bulma gave them a thumbs up before walking away to grab something to eat. "What do you think she would try to do?" Goku asked. "Kalarot I highly doubt she'll do anything that could actually end up harming us. What is she gonna do resurrect Freiza? Cell maybe? Oh no no no! Kid Buu!" Vegeta said jokingly. Goku chuckled a bit. "You're dumb."

"So like...are we not here?" Trunks said asking Goten. "You know I think we just aren't that important" Goten said. Vegeta and Goku turned towards their children. "Oh come on don't say that guys...of course you're important" Goku said. They smiled. "We should fix us up some grub, i'm starvin!" Goten said. They all agreed and headed to the kitchen to eat some breakfast.
