10:42am July 3rd-
It's weird waking up in this new place I thinks to myself as I do a quick stretch and get out of bed. I keep asking myself why my dad really chose to move to this dump of a town but I already know the answer. Ever since mom left dad and got laid off work, finances have been tight and he had to sell our house and move to a small apartment in a new town. I left behind my friends, home, and most importantly mom back in our old city. I check my alarm clock beside my small bed. It reads 10:47am. I stumble out of my room in my pyjamas still tired from waking up and walk to the apartments living room where I find my dad sleeping on a large arm chair with two bottles of empty gin beside him. "Oh dad" I whisper to myself  as I  wrap a blanket around my snoring father and clear away the bottles. I wonder into the kitchen and decide to check my phone for messages to see if there are any messages from my friends in the old city. Still nothing. Why has no one texted me back yet? I think, It's almost like they never cared about me in the first place. I set my phone down and grab some bread on the counter and pop them in the toaster. I walk over to the fridge and grab some butter for my toast and an apple to eat. My toast pops and I eat the food quickly and put the butter away. I trudge back upstairs to get changed into my day clothes and think about what to do with myself today. After a few minutes I decide to go for a walk to explore the area, not truly realizing the extent of what is to come...

-Like it so far? Lol. I'll try to update soon and get some more out but for now, I'll leave it at that.
