Still Harley P.O.V

"-ve two children who are 16 and 14, so they don't like me that much. But they'll grow out of it." The receptionist was finishing saying. Peter chuckles softly, but turns to us when the Veggie lady clears her throat.

"Hey Peter!" Morgan greets over-excitedly. Her smile and face is practically glowing, it made me smile a bit too. "'Mornin' Pete." I say. I then study him again. His face and neck are all basically spotless, though he does have a few fading bruises, but they seem like from days ago. "Hello." Tony says in an 'I don't really like you' tone, which I hate. "Good morning Peter." Steve says way more politely, sounding genuinely interested and happy.

He smiles slightly. "Good morning to you too."

"Alright. It's time to go Pete. I'll tell Marcus you said goodbye, ok? See ya." The reception lady says with a sigh.

Peter nods and I walk to the door to hold it open for everyone. "Petey, waiting two days felt so long." Morgan groaned, but then smiles. "I'll show you your room when we get to the compoundie."

Peter smiled again shyly, and then answered with a quick, "yes, sure."

Dad and pops walk out the thin, wooden door first, then Morgan, then Pete, though the Veggie lady was walking behind him. "Be good." I heard her whisper in his ear harshly. Peter looked startled, but nodded quickly.

We head over to the expensive car parked in the driveway of the orphanage. I look over to peter who stares at it in amazement, mouth open.

"Close your mouth or you're gonna catch flies." I tease. I see him slam his jaw shut, not too harshly though.

He laughs awkwardly and hops into the back of the car. He was on the left side, Morgan in the middle and me on the right side. Tony was driving and Steve was sitting on the passenger seat next to him.

"What do you like to do in your free time?" Morgan asks Peter. I looks at her for a few seconds, thinking. "Um.. I like engineering and solving problems. I also like skateboarding, dancing, building legos and watching movies."

"I love building legwows. Maybe we can build together, I have heaps!" Morgan said excitedly. I knew that she'd like Peter a lot from this day, like, a lot. I should hang out with him everyday too, like build a robot, or another AI, or watch heaps of movies, teach me how to dance, or maybe he can teach me how to skateboard. But I don't know, Steve seems to think that skateboards are kind of a bad kids thing.

"You have a lot of good Talents, Pete." I said with a smile. He blushes a bit, and looks down at his lap hoping to hide his flushed face. I chuckle quietly. this boy was too easily embarrassed.

The car comes to a full stop as we reach the tower and Morgan jumps out of the car, very quickly, again. "Morgana, you need to calm your farm." I tease. She just pouts playfully and returns to her cheerful smile.

"Yeah yeah. Ok, I'm gonna show Peter his room." She then grabs the new kids hand, and sprints off into the compound.

Peter P.O.V

The young girl, Morgan, bolts inside, dragging me behind her. As we walk through the door, a voice speaks from the roof.

"Welcome back Morgan." The thing greeted softly, as if it had emotions. "Searching files. Peter Parker, 15 years old, recently adopted by Steve Rogers-Stark and Tony Rogers-Stark. Access Granted." Said the AI said politely, but with no emotion.

I need to learn how to make one of those.

Morgan just smiles more, if that is even possible, then grabs my hand and runs into the elevator. "Private floor please, FRIDAY."

"Of course Morgan."

It was only about a 4 second wait, as the compound only has about 2-3 levels.

When the elevator opened, we were greeted with a wide space, with a few couches, a huge TV, weapons high on the wall, cool electronics, windows and some doors.

Morgan walks to a door straight a head in the middle of the room, I follow behind, and the door automatically opens. "Woah." I gasp slightly. Morgan giggles softly, then proceeds to skip down the wide hall, which had other doors, tv's, grey walls, wooden floors, electronics, etc.

She then opens the door on the left, which was pretty far down the corridor.

The room was huge, like massive. Although, it was kind of empty. Which I definitely expected.

There was a channel upholstered king bed, a wardrobe, that seemed to be in the wall, with a mirror covering it. There was a desk, that sat in front of the window, which had a laptop and phone on it.

I gasped again. I haven't had a phone, or any electronic, since May died. And even then, I had an old, cracked, broken down phone. "This is so cool!"

Morgan giggles again. "Yeah it is, but it's empty. Maybe Harley, you and I can go shopping at Ikea tomorrow."

"Sure I'd like that." I said with a smile.

Sorry luvs, I was going to post way sooner, but the week was more busy and exhausting than I thought it would be. But this week should be less busy & tiring. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, it's kind of short, so I'm going to post a longer one next.
