I move all over the country. I never really settle in a place for more than a year at a time. My mother is in the navy and is stationed at the Fort Meade military base in Maryland. I could've chosen to stay with her, but honestly I connect with my father more. So I decided to travel the world with him. It's stressful sometimes. Moving to a new place and never really getting to know anybody. But it's the kind of break I needed. The adventure I've always longed for. It is December 20th, 2014 and we are just beginning to pack up our things to move again. Our current home is in California. It's been really fun hanging out at the beach everyday after school. The beach has been a peaceful place for me to continue on, writing my music. Sometimes, I even swam. I hated swimming in the ocean, but I knew no one along the coast with a pool. I played volleyball with some guys regularly. Every Thursday, I led the team to yet another victory. I wonder what would happen to the undefeated team once I left. After all, I was both the best server and spiker in the team.
Back at the house, my dad was already home and waiting for me. He was sitting on the sofa reading a novel.
"Finally, you're home. The colonel came to my office today and told me where we will be moving to next." he said.
"Cool! Where are we going?" I proceeded to ask.
"I am going to be stationed in Texas. pretty close to Houston." he told me.
"Ok, it'll be another new experience. We haven't been to Texas yet," I said.
"Well, I'm going to need you to start packing up you're room tonight. We leave for Texas the 30th and should arrive the 31st."
"Ok, I'll start packing right now. And what's for dinner?"
"I'm going to cook steak and potatoes. We can go out for dinner tomorrow."
"Ok." I said as I ascended the stairs to my room. My room was located just at the top of the stairs. I opened the door and began shoving books into a box. I tried to pack the things I didn't use a lot in a hurriedly fashion. It took me about 3 hours, but I packed all of my books and clothes into some boxes. I left out enough simple outfits for my remaining time in California. I ate my dinner in my room and in silence. After dinner, I helped my dad do the dishes an pack the pots and pans up. I then went to bed.
---------------------------------------------The next morning, I awoke with a start. Today was my last day at school. I would have to say goodbye to all of my friends. I showered, put on ripped black skinny jeans and my brands new My Chemical Romance shirt, and ate a s'mores poptart before leaving the house for the bus stop. My dad was already gone and so I had to lock the door. I was running slightly late so I ran to the end of my street. Lucky for me, I got there just as the bus pulled up. I had no friends on my bus and always say in the front directly behind the driver. On the way to school, I listened to " Caraphernellia", " Hell above", " Welsome to the black parade", and " Saviour". Once I arrived at school, I went to my locker for my books and went to first period. I told Mrs. Ward that I would no longer be attending the school because I was moving again. I took my seat in the back of the room and started doodling on lined paper. As Suzie and Parker walked towards me, I told them the news. They both said that they'd miss me. I did have a phone so we could talk every day (or at least whenever we could). School went by surprisingly fast. When I got home, I took a quick pic for Instagram. I fell asleep and stayed asleep through the morning.

All of the boxes were packed and ready to be moved to Texas. Today was the day of the move. As my father and I boarded the plane, we turned off all of our electronics and put them in our bags. The plane ride was pretty long. It took almost all day. When we finally landed, our first stop was to the new house. It was very big, much bigger than we would have liked. We dropped off our things and went out to eat. After eating, we saw a movie (The Hunger Games) and went back home. I took my boxes to a random room on the second floor. I made my bed and unpacked a few things. I checked my phone and since there was nothing worth doing on it, I fell asleep.
