Aera POV

The soothing music of the drizzles embraced us as we walked by a lawn after some ramyeon and kimchi for lunch. And the slushy pear falvoured ice cream blended perfectly satiating our tongues. We spoke so much in the small restaurant we went for lunch.
An old lady even called us a "cute couple" that only left our faces with pink and red lushes.
It reminded me of how much I missed talking to Jennie and Lisa the past days.

It surprised me that he didn't like mangoes yet chose a fruity ice cream flavour.
He didn't like butterflies either.
When I asked him for an explanation we had our stomachs paining because of all the laughing and earning  weird gazes from people around. He said his friend had put a butterfly in his underwear and that day drove him crazy. And from then on he hated butterflies.
No, scratch that word
scared of butterflies.
His favorite colours were black and blue.
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeee.....
Mine too!
We even had similar taste in the type of music we listened to.

We learnt so much about each other and the overwhelming joy it produced within us amazed me.
He sounded so, so excited when he told me about his sweet childhood memories along with his Mom and his only elder brother he loved so much and not to mention but the crush he had on his math teacher during  his 5th grade.

If he had such a good childhood  along with a loving mother and a caring brother, what led him there.
I was curious.
He appeared exuberant while he elucidated in detail his happy memories. Of course I didn't want to ruin it for him. I knew he would tell me if he wanted to.
Therefore, I shut the curious part of my mind and accompanied him in his ebullience more than willingly.

He sat on a bench among the many on the silent pathway. Not many people were there since it appeared to be a place for comfortable  evening walks and morning sunshine jogs.

He patted the place next to him and smiled gesturing me to sit next to him.
I returned his smile and did so.

Since he revealed to me about his crushes it was time for me to do as well. I felt this urge itching at the tip of my tongue to open up to him about my stupid crush story.
So I did.

"I've also had a crush before" I said not looking at him.

"Really..?"
Why was he so surprised..?
I'm a human, of course I could have crushes.

"My father's friend"
Okay!
I agree this was shameless.

" What..?" he blurted out so loudly.
When I turned to look at him I knew this was such a bad idea. He had his hands holding his stomach tightly in an attempt to stop laughing.
This embarrassed me even more.

"I couldn't help it. He was very good looking and very friendly. He even got me sweets and plushies  whenever he came home. He often visited our house and the last time he did was to present to us his wedding card".

"What..?
Oh My God...
Hahahahah........" hubs of ravelling laughter wouldn't stop boggling out of his mouth.

"Yah! Let me continue" I demanded softly.

"Please , please go ahead" he said trying to suppress his laugh.

"I was angry and hurt that he was getting married, so I stole his purse
and emptied it the next day in a nearby ice cream shop after school along with Jennie and Lisa"

" What...??
You stole his purse...
Hahahahahaha......."  he was on his feet now laughing harder than before.
His shiny hair bounced along with him.

"Yah! What do you expect me to do.
I was in my 6th grade and didn't know how to take my revenge .
I feel so stupid everytime I think about it"
But he wouldn't stop laughing.
