I sat back, a sigh escaping my lips. The schedule, the calls, the meetings.... none of it mattered.
There is something everyone in this world should learn in kindergarten; Life is not what it seems.
My phone rang and as much as I didn't want to answer I had commitments to a lot of different areas of this world.
"Yes?"
"It's done."
I sighed again and thought through the complications of this and what it would mean, if my choices had been right. Life might not be what it seems but it is always a gamble.
"Good, it's secured?"
Hesitation, one of the things I hated most. Choices are made, not hesitated about. A moron on the line if not something worse.
"Sure, what now?"
I fought the sigh now. He'd been properly briefed about this and yet he asked? A moron.
"Now we move."
