Why is he holding my hand, it feels nice, why am I saying this it doesn't make any since.
"Listen you know how the high school prom is coming up pretty soon, right?" I nod and take my hand away from his. "Well I was wondering-."he starts, but I interrupt and say "We better get to class or we'll be late." He grabs my hand again and says "Wait I want you to go to prom with me." I-I-I don't know what to say I wasn't even going to go anyways. "Sure, I'll go but, on one condition." I say. "What anything." he says "You can't tell any of your buddy's about this especially Jim." I say. He nods and kisses me on the cheek. I slap him on the cheek. "What was that for?" He says. "For kissing me on the cheek, just because we are going to prom together doesn't mean we are in love." I reply making a motion with my eyebrow's. He looks sad and hugs me romantically. This time I don't pull away.
Last period we have together Jack was starring at me the whole time it felt aqward. Just knowing he was. The bell ring's and I pop up and run to my locker my best friend Jessica Wright was waiting for me because her ninth period teacher let's them out early. Lucky her. She is holding hand's with Sam Louden. "What's going on, why are you holding hand's with Sam?" I ask. She let's go of his hand and says "Well Sam asked me to go to prom with him and I said yes and he also asked me out." We jump in joy but the joy dance end's soon. " Do you have a date to the prom yet?" She asks " Sam can you go please come back in say 5 minute's." He replies with a simple "Kay." "Okay so you won't believe me when I say this, but Jack Snuk asked me to go to prom with him." I say. She says " No way your lying." Really I'm not lying so I tell her that I am not and she asks if I want to go prom dress shopping and I told her yes.
I get on the bus and Jessica sits directly across from me. We always sit in seat's across from each other so we can talk. Jack come's up and sits beside me so I say " What are you doing?" He replies with" Sitting beside you, duh." I shrug where else can he sit besides everywhere! Jessica smile's and I think I heard a giggle to. When I wake up(not knowing I went to sleep anyways) someone is carrying me, but who? When I look up I see Jack carrying me I say "When did you plan on waikng me up." "When we got to your house, you sleep like a rock you know everyone was yelling for you to wake up so I picked you up and said I wold take care of it." He said flashing a smile. "Oh well you know I can walk right." "I know." He says. The rest of the way home we don't say anything when I reach my house and Jack says " See you in two day's." "What?" I say dumbly. " Prom." He says with air quotes. He waves good by and I do to. I walk in the house and smell dinner, but I'm not hungry so I walk up-stair's to my room and lay on my bed saying to myself. :What have you done.:
