Amnesia

"You-You don't remember.." my voice trailed off as I stared at Luce in disbelief. With eyes wider than the distance between each planet in the galaxy I slowly walked closer to Luce who sat in the bed watching my every move.

I reached my hand out to touch her hair making her flinch. We started into each other's eyes as I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and sat beside her in the bed.

"Your Lucy Heartfilia.." As I said that a single tear escaped my eye and ran down my cheek.
"-my best friend"

Her lips parted slightly as her hand slowly reached up to my face and caressed my cheek. With her other hand she wiped the wet trial from the tear that had escaped

"I don't remember anything that happened...I only remember your face and your name.." Luce closed her eyes and gently put her forehead on mines... "But I want to remember...I want to know who you are...I want to know who I am.." She backed up and looked back into my eyes.

I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers together.
"I will do everything I can to help you Luce." With that I pulled her into a hug. My arms were wrapped around her waist tightly as I made a silent promise to help her get her memories back.....even if in the end she still hates my guts...

It was my fault we lost our daughter.....it's the least I can do for her.

~Timeskip At The Base~ Lucy POV
"-This is Mirajane Stauss your friend since childhood and Lisanna's big sister" Natsu introduced. I stood still as I scanned Mirajane's features carefully. They look so familiar. Not in the way as everyone else when Natsu introduced everyone to me but in a different way. Like I saw her face somewhere else before...

Its probably nothing anyway. Maybe I'm just over thinking it.
"Hey Lucy, how are you holding up?" Mira gave me a soft smile. I smiled back.

"I'm okay. Thanks for asking"

"No problem" Suddenly I felt Natsu gently grab my hand and intertwine our fingers. He then began to pull me towards the exit.

"Come on Luce, let's go explore the town"

It was already nightfall when we were done exploring the entire town. Though I still don't quite remember living in this town at all and nothing seems to ring a bell.

I sighed under my breath as I looked towards the stone pathway that's suppose to lead us to my house. My house was opposite of the river that had a small bridge to cross over after.

It wasn't exactly a house but an apartment. Natsu told me Wendy and Erza rented me an apartment since they were recently renovating my house. Apparently the entire living room was destroyed and the rest of the house by Natsu when he went on a rampage after he found out Nashi was dead.

I don't know who Nashi is but Natsu just told me it was someone close to me.

"Hey guys" someone said snapping me out of my thoughts "what are you doing out here?"
