Morning of Love

Yuka POV
In one swift motion I swept Bun Bun off her feet, holding her body bridle style and staring into her eyes.
"I love you my Sakura eyed bunny" I whispered.

"I love you too my ocean eyed snowflake" With that I captured her lips, pulling her into a sweet kiss.

Natsu POV
"Nggghh" I groaned as I stretched my limbs and opened my eyes. The sun shined through the curtains and lit up the entire bedroom. I looked at my side expecting to see a blonde goddess sleeping beside me only to see and empty bed.

I jumped up in fear.
"L-Luce?" I stuttered as I began to tear up. Don't tell me I lost her again. Suddenly I heard dishes clinking together in the kitchen. I rushed to the kitchen in hopes of seeing Luce. Please let her be there..I don't want to lose her again.

As soon as I arrived at the doorway my heart skipped three beats in a row making my chest hurt and my lungs suffocate. There she was standing at the stove licking pancake batter off her cheek. She made something as simple and casual as a grey t-shirt, denim shorts, grey flip flops and a pink apron look gorgeous. Her hair was neatly tied up in a high ponytail.

I don't know how long I've been standing here for but my drool was already making a small puddle on the floor. Good thing Luce didn't notice. I wiped my drool, cleaned the floor and rushed to the bathroom to freshen up and get ready.

It's a good thing I put some clothes in here for me when Erza and Wendy bought the place.
Once I was ready I rushed back downstairs to meet the kitchen completely empty. But the scent of blueberry pancakes led me to the living room where Luce was sitting at the coffee table eating and watching TV.

"Morning Luce" I smiled. Luce looked up at me with the fork in her mouth. I mentally awed  at how cute she looked. She took the fork out her mouth and smiled.

"Morning Natsu. Want some pancakes?" I gasped dramatically

"Do I?!" I jumped on the couch and sat next to Luce munching happily on breakfast. It was crunchy yet soft, sweet but not too sweet and each bite made me moan in delight. "This is the best pancakes I ever tasted"  Their even better than those years ago which I thought was impossible to do.

"Really?" Lucy stuttered shyly. I blushed and nodded. After a moment of silence Luce turned on the TV. This is the best morning ever.

Lucy pov
After breakfast, Natsu walked with me to a grocery store to pick up some things that I'm missing at home since Natsu and I ate most of them last night.

Now that I think about it Natsu and I don't exactly act like best friends. We act like a couple. I don't know why but I feel like I made the right choice in trusting Natsu. He probably thinks I'm weird for clinging onto him so much though but I can't help myself.

He doesn't seem to mind anyway. He hasn't rejected me at all. Or..maybe he doesn't notice...
