Alison and Emily are together they don't have the best relationship. They break up every 2 weeks. They can't stay together longer that a month. They are so toxic that they can't live without each other.
It's 2 am and Atlas won't go to sleep. She's been crying for a hour. She's been teething really bad this week. I know she's tired.
Ali: shshshsh.
I bring her into me. I put more medicine on her gums. I lay her on my chest. After a while she starts to calm down. I kiss her head.
12:03 pm
Ali: shit!
I look down at the tests.
Atlas: mama!
Ali: I know baby.
I've been feeling off for a couple days. I didn't think it would be this. I'm not ready for another baby. Emily and I are in a good place but for how long?

I walk into the brew. I see Emily come out.
Emily: get a table I'll be right there.
I nod. I sit to the back. I wait for him. Why am I so nervous to tell him.
Emily: Hey baby what's up?
He kisses my head. He sits next to me.
Ali: when is your break?
Emily: now. What's wrong?
Ali: so.... I took a test today.
He looks at me surprised.
Emily: ok.
Ali: positive. I'm sorry.
I'm scared to look at him.
Emily: how do you feel?
Ali: I'm not sure. I'm not ready for another one. Atlas is great it's just a lot it's our senior year.
Emily: what are you saying?
Ali: I don't know.
Emily: were not doing that.
Ali: Emily I'm not ready.
Emily: I know we said 2 years but we can't change it.
