Not Entirely Sure What to Call This but Basically Charles Regains His Ability to Walk (Thanks Devon):

The door to the infirmary swung open and Aella walked in, a boy following her. He had spiky black hair and wore all black, and didn't seem quite happy to be there. Aella looked back at him, and he sighed.

"This is Devon," she explained, running a hand through her ivory hair. "I think he can help."

Cassandra eyed him nervously, but she didn't move from her place next to Charles. Lovelynn smiled at him politely.

"I still don't know what makes you think I can help," Devon sighed, standing at the foot of the bed.

Aella smiled. "Don't worry, I'll guide you." Devon shrugged and held out his hands, and the ring on his finger began to glow bright red.

"What's going on?" Charles asked, slightly concerned.

Aella smiled knowingly as she pressed two fingers to her temple. "He's going to heal you." She closed her eyes.

Golden smoke began to flow from Devon's hands and wrap around Charles. Cassandra's eyes widened in concern, but no one moved. The smoke glowed brighter, brighter, brighter... until the room filled with a blinding light and a loud bang. Quickly, the smoke disappeared and Devon stumbled backwards.

Aella looked concerned. "Did it work?" she anxiously glanced at her father. "Try to move."

Charles groaned, but then a look of joy crossed his face. "My legs..." he said after a moment. "They hurt." He smiled. "It worked!"

Aella grinned widely. "Oh my gosh, that's fantastic! Now, it's gonna take a lot of work to regain full functionality, but you should be able to walk again."

Cassandra let out a happy shriek and hugged her fiancé. "This is perfect! Absolutely perfect!" The she went over to Devon, who had blended into the background, and gave him a hug too. "Thank you," she said to him. "Thank you so much."

Devon went rigid for a second, before he hugged her back. "No problem."

Charles Asks Lovelynn For Her Blessing:

Charles was sitting in his office, doing some paperwork when a knock sounded on the door. He looked up.

"Come in, Lovelynn."

The door inched open and a girl crept into his office. She was shortish, blonde, and wore a pink dress and a white blouse. Her hand was clutching the heart locket she always wore.

"Sit down, please. Would you like some tea?" Charles asked, pouring a cup from the teapot on his desk and passing it over to her.

"Am I in trouble, sir?" Lovelynn asked nervously, taking the cup and sipping quietly from it.

Charles smiled. "Oh, not at all. You see, I actually have... a little bit of an unorthodox request of you."

Lovelynn set the cup down. "What do you mean?"

"Well... I will just get straight to the point. Lovelynn, I have called you here to ask for your blessing."

Lovelynn's face contorted into one of confusion. "Blessing? For what?"

Charles inhaled. "To marry your mother."
