Have you ran home after getting off the bus? Ran into your house, slammed you bedroom door without speaking to anyone and locked it? I have. I honestly like school... I know weird for a teenage guy to say right... But I do. I love the learning aspect of school, I hate the social. I'd rather do what I'm doing now; laying under my covers with my door locked, listening to music, letting the waves of sound roll through me. Most people think I'm this happy kid. The kid who sits at the back of class and cracks jokes and looks like he belongs with the burn outs. Girls tend to go for the jocks more than they do me, which that's okay. I like another boy; he's extremely attractive..with his tan skin and wavy, brown/blonde hair... ugh but he'll never like me. No one finds messy, black hair and dark, green eyes attractive. If I was on the football team, maybe people would like me more, but my frame is too small and I'm too weak.
Groaning I roll over, flipping my laptop open. Bright light invades my dark cave of blankets as Sammi Jakesons face fills my screen. Facebook is blowing up with news about how Sam led the football team to victory with his perfectness. Oh gosh, he was absolutely perfect. Why can't he just notice me? Just once...."SKYLAR! Open up!" A frail, tiny voice yells from the other side of my door. I shake my head, shutting my laptop softly, and walk over to the door.
"What do you want first." I mumble into the keyhole.
"Dinners ready." my mothers voice becomes less fragile and more forceful. Sighing, I turn the lock and pull the door open. Her red hair fluttering around her face, black roots showing badly.
"I'm coming okay?" I say, shoving past her to the stairs. I hate meal time, there's so much fighting. I also don't like eating much... probably why I'm so tiny and thin and weak. Tromp tromp tromp I walk down the stairs as slow as possible, just to piss my mother off, her long, red nails digging into my back trying to move me.
I get to the dinner table in time to be rewarded with a low huff, stomping of shoes and clicking of nails on the table. My whole lovely family sitting together.>>> THANKS FOR READING!
