KENMA'S DAY SO FAR WAS QUITE EXHAUSTING.

He had just finished a long trip to the grocery store since he still didn't own a car. For some reason, Kenma didn't like the idea of driving. he always found driving scary as hell so he walked everywhere and took the train.

Even if it meant it butchered his legs.

On the way back home, Kenma emptied his mailbox and stuffed the letters into his mouth. He didn't care if they were dirty. He had a fucking flower growing inside his lungs.

Kenma tossed his head to the side, letting go of the letters in the process and they landed perfectly in the small, red basket he kept on a stand next to the entrance door. It wasn't anything fancy, he found it at the dollar store and decided his place needed a spark of color since all of Kenma's furniture was bland.

As Kenma was putting away his food items, his mind wandered to the conversation he and Bokuto were having. Tsukishima Kei, he hadn't seen Tsukishima in so long, they had interacted once but both never seemed to like or dislike each other.

Mostly, Kenma saw Yamaguchi with Tsukishima so he got a hunch that the wedding centered around those two males.

Kenma finished putting all his purchases into his now fully stocked fridge and he let his eyes wander towards the letters in the basket.

I wonder if I got invited.

After all, Kenma was friends with Yamaguchi when he was in college, so it would only make sense if Yamaguchi invited him.

However, Yamaguchi was also friends with Kuroo.

Cautiously, Kenma stalked towards the letters, grabbing them with shaky hands as he read each and every one, he tried to toss the idea aside that Kuroo would most likely be at the wedding if Kenma got an invitation.

Taxes, advertising, newspaper and-

To: Kenma Kozume

From: The Tsukishima residence.

There it was, shining in both gold and black. The invitation was somewhat outrageous and it reminded him of Kuroo's bad taste in coloring.

Kuroo.

Kenma felt his lungs clench slightly and his air pipe clog up. He scolded himself internally and threw the invitation to the side, not noticing that the card had fell out of it's envelope.
