"HEY! DID YOU GET THE INVITATION TO TSUKISHIMA'S WEDDING?"
Bokuto's voice echoed through the other line of the telephone. Kenma was currently cooking up some microwaved food in the, well, microwave, when suddenly his surprisingly long-term friend; Bokuto rang him. Sometimes, Kenma wouldn't bother to pick it up. But, he was lonley and didn't want to think about You-know-who so he decided to distract himself from his worries.
"Tsukishima's getting married? To who?"
"I dunno, he didn't tell me. But I have a hunch it's Yamaguchi or somethin, I mean, that little snowflake followed him everywhere since, well, forever. Oh also-"
Kenma zoned out of the conversation, he didn't want to hear anything about people's other relationships. He knew that it was mean and undisciplined of him to ignore his friend ramble on about this boy named 'Akaashi' that he met at the train station. However, the more he heard about other's love lives, the more he yearned for his own.
It's funny how he used to think love was something he'd never have.
It's funny how he used to think that love was something ridiculous and only happened in movies.
It's funny that now, instead of living on his own, without any troubles, he had to deal with the pain of dying every time he thought about the guy who twisted and made his world.
The pain was unbearable at times but sometimes he didn't feel a thing.
It was killing him. Killing him softly.
